I'm not sure there is the same number of targets. There are apparently a ton of monuments to the Confederacy. What types of statues do you think conservatives would go after? Maybe we should start putting Obama statues everywhere and see what happens. :think:

I agree with the responses you already received on this but I just want to ask one question. What history worth preserving do you think is being lost by removing these monuments?

I don't think so either. Perhaps there is an argument to be made that these monuments are not glorifying those who fought for slavery but mostly what I see in here is misrepresentation and attacks on straw-men.

I think it would depend on how the monuments are taken down. If a community decides to remove one then I'm not sure how your liberty is being removed.
