I'm sorry for the delay, to say it's been a difficult couple of weeks would be an understatement but the best I can offer as an excuse for my lack of response.

I've been alright. Not much going on. Still reading the first volume of Jenson. Started a Star Wars book for fiction. Nerd alert. :chuckle: Almost done reading the NT using my Eastern Orthodox study bible. Have really enjoyed it. After this I'm going to read through the OT using a Jewish study bible. Really looking forward to that too. Still need to do those projects at the house. Are you all settled into your new place?

I've been alright. Struggling through an annoying period at work. Will be celebrating my sister's and dad's birthdays this weekend and going out with my brother for his birthday tonight. May is a big birthday month in my family. :eek: Not much else going on. Still in Jenson.

I went back to that Episcopal church today and because it was Pentecost, when they were reading the gospel account from Acts, as the reader was speaking about a dozen people in different parts of the church stood up and joined in - but each was reading in a different language. It was electrifying, like you'd imagine speaking in tongues would sound like. And the only thing words I could make out were the ones in English, which kind of stood out in what was like a wall of sound. Pretty amazing.

I had an interesting scotch whiskey last night. Had a smoky taste. Like lapsong souchong but with alcohol. :chuckle:

I've been alright. Not much going on. Enjoying spring weather. Thought my foot was finally healed but been having a little pain the past couple days. It feels slightly different though so I'm not sure if it's the same thing returning or something new. Haven't read much Jenson lately. I had taken it up to my bedroom thinking that I'd read a little bit each night before I go to sleep but it hasn't worked out that way. I've been reading Dracula and my WWII book though.
