Nah, Lon, I couldn't have been nicer to her in the Hall thread and if you read what she said about the point of her remark later, that it was meant as a gibe, you can't fail to understand she knew what she was doing, just as she understands her mischaracterization of what I actually wrote to her as, characterizing it as an attempt to bully is dishonest. She wanted me to smooth things over with zoo. I wasn't in a position to do that, was honest with her about that (though I made as helpful a suggestion as I could) and she thought I was simply unwilling, I guess. What I know is that what followed was and remains calculated.

It's less about his faith and more about his personal vendetta and frustration. One of the best and most helpful of the faithful I know was the head of the last firm I worked for and a life long Catholic. I've often found the best and worst of men are scattered throughout ideological strata and the worst are notable in their tendency to use any idea or faith to promote their own power and authority.
