We do not have to support President Trump or his policies. We should be diligent against injustice at any level. We must also recognize that God raises up both good and bad leaders according to his sovereign plan. Read Habakkuk 1 to see how God raised up the most wicked nation in order to discipline his chosen people.
2 Corinthians 5:18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; 5:19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling
the world unto himself,
not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
Brace yourself, the following just might sting a bit...
I would suggest to YOU that you read ancient ISRAEL's Prophet: Habakkuk's words TO ANCIENT ISRAEL in light of THEIR Prophet: Daniel, in Daniel 2.
Daniel 9:2 In the first year of his reign I Daniel understood by books the number of the years, whereof the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah the prophet, that he would accomplish seventy years in the desolations of Jerusalem. 9:3 And I set my face unto the Lord God, to seek by prayer and supplications, with fasting, and sackcloth, and ashes: 9:11 Yea, all Israel have transgressed thy law, even by departing, that they might not obey thy voice; therefore the curse is poured upon us, and the oath that is written in the law of Moses the servant of God, because we have sinned against him. 9:12 And he hath confirmed his words, which he spake against us, and against our judges that judged us, by bringing upon us a great evil: for under the whole heaven hath not been done as hath been done upon Jerusalem. 9:13 As it is written in the law of Moses, all this evil is come upon us: yet made we not our prayer before the LORD our God, that we might turn from our iniquities, and understand thy truth.
The U.S. never was, nor is not, the nation Israel.
Even that fraud presently in the White House knows that much.
Further, of the five kingdoms IN THE MIDDLE EAST that Daniel spoke of that would rise up AGAINST ISRAEL in Daniel 2 and in Daniel 11, only four of those MIDDLE EASTERN Kingdoms did so, the 4th one having been the Mighty Roman Empire, John 19:10,11, the last one - AGAINST ISRAEL: ALSO IN THE MIDDLE EAST - has yet to rise up.
Daniel 11:37 Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all.
2 Thessalonians 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 2:4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. 2:5 Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?
So please spare me the chosen nation nonsense about the U.S.
The U.S. is and has always been merely one more, vain, secular nation on its own course, which is why the hypocrites within the so called "right" support someone like Donald Trump: who built a Tower in his own name, in homage to his ever preening vanity, via immigrant workers he then proceeded to stiff out of millions of dollars, because the man is a life-long, low life just like his Tammany Hall corrupt old man before him was, who followed in Trump's equally corrupt grandfather's steps before him: a grandfather who made his fortune as owner of a Brothel, in which he also bought and sold politicians, just like his son and grand son would do, one day.
Per Scripture, where is the God of Scripture?
Neither raising up nations, nor punishing one while blessing another, nor calling for the killing of adulterors, or what have you, other than in the minds of Bible verse blenders out to twist a thing to the service of whatever their pet peeve happens to be.
For per Scripture, God is now in Romans 5:6-8.
"To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling THE WORLD unto himself, NOT imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word OF RECONCILIATION." 2 Corinthians 5:19
