Jesus was baptized, and EVERY Apostle and follower of Jesus was water baptized after the DBR.
That's the key, follower of Jesus. If you're a follower of Jesus you will do what he says and he says be baptized in his name.
Jesus was baptized, and EVERY Apostle and follower of Jesus was water baptized after the DBR.
That was in a different dispensation. Today there is only "one" baptism (Eph.4:5) and that "one" baptism is found at 1 Corinthians 12:13.
Water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ is the only way obey John 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
Obey Jesus Christ
Amen!
Paul said he wasn't sent to baptize but to preach the Gospel. 1 Cor 1:17
That means the saving Good News does not require the work of your judaized water rituals, and that you both have believed another gospel and are not His.
That verse is taken out of context to support a falsehood. We clearly see him practicing water baptism. If there is one baptism and it's not water then why is he doing it?
Can you please explain what Paul means in vs17 based on context?
Paul taught baptism in the name of Jesus Christ. 'And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.' Acts 20:16
No, because your confused mind is already made up. Not going to waste my time with someone who believes other men's water ritual is keeping him right with God.

Not even close. Paul had these people baptized under his ministry, but had his assistants do most of it. Read the story in the Book of Acts, chapter 18.
