Ukraine Crisis

It's incredible that the Ukrainians have managed to fend the Russians off for this long.
Yeah but you know that, the longer this goes on, it actually means it shouldn't have surprised anybody to be begin with. So long as the Russians genuinely planned and expected to achieve a surrender quickly, the longer this goes on means we all everybody including the Russians overestimated them.

We still need to give Putin the Immeasurably Slow, safe passage out of this thing though. Some way where he doesn't come off to everybody, especially to his own polity, like a blackhole of befuddlement and childish dreams.

Agreed that the best outcome is that Ukraine pushes Putin back over the borders he crossed in 2022, and leave him to figure out how to avoid the coup that is most likely coming for him. The separatist regions, that's a complex issue, there may be no quick answer there.

It's more important that Putin saves face, than that Ukraine gets a nationalistic shot in the arm out of this. I feel their pain, they are certainly victims, but concluding safely this geopolitical Mexican standoff towers over even all the Ukrainians in importance.

I hope that he can gracefully withdraw, and that his own polity specifically doesn't cause a coup attempt or civil war. The guy's got to die eventually, hopefully we can all just wait him out.

Yeah. We're agreed on what the answer isn't: belligerent expansionary invasion. That's a definite no-no too, Davy.

So Joe Biden received from Ukraine millions of dollars laundered through his crackhead son, and now he's trying to send 40 billion of American taxpayer dollars in aid to Ukraine, and Rand Paul thinks that maybe somebody should make sure they're watching where it goes and what's being done with it.

Good on Rand Paul. Bad on leftist democrat activists who hate Paul and his family for their patriotism. Very bad for America that democrat DC officials refuse to investigate the brutal attack on him and his wife by leftist democrat thugs. How bad is this going to get before Constitutional rights and freedoms are again honored and law and order are restored to America?

Republican Senator Rand Paul revealed Monday morning the funding behind individuals who attacked him and his wife Kelley after the RNC Convention in August will not be investigated.

The leftist mob that attacked Sen. Paul and his wife also attacked a cop and sent him to the hospital. But leftists don't care about the lives of conservative white government officials and their families or cops because to tribal barbarian thugs only Black Lives Matter.

Just one more piece of unfinished business to pencil in for January 3rd

Your "proof" is from a known Russia-aligned 'journalist' who's already been exposed for posting fake videos amplifying Russian propaganda.

‘Exploiting Cadavers ’and ‘Faked IEDs’: Experts Debunk Staged Pre-War ‘Provocation’ in the Donbas

"Pro-Kremlin media from Russian and separatist outlets, including the Russian daily newspaper Izvestiya and US blogger Patrick Lancaster..."

Lancaster has never been successfully sued in court like your sources:

Do you know why some people refer to Ukraine as "the Ukraine"? It's because the name literally translates into "Borderlands." Historically it was the fortified territory separating the Kievan Rus from the western empires. No surprise Russia doesn't appreciate NATO encroachment.

History, geography, and demographics always play a role in any current conflict. War, war never changes.

Patrick Lancaster...

Yep. Jefferson knows this but it’s the pro-Russia slant he‘s looking for, so…

Because it ties into conservatives’ authoritarian tendencies towards a religious state that values their ideal of an American ‘default‘ demographic.
And somehow it's "leftists" who are communists, Marxists and would wish to be tyrants apparently who would censor and infringe upon the rights of the populace...the irony meters are more than fed up of being blown up by now.

Mariupol’s Final Ukrainian Chapter

The surrender of the last of the militant Azov “soldiers” who were hiding in the bowels of the Avostal Steel plant in Mariupol is the final curtain for NATO’s fantasy that Ukraine would beat the Russians.

Almost 2,500 of the Azov battalion surrendered to the Russians and are now incarcerated in POW camps in Russia.

Zelensky and his gang of thieves pushed the meme that Russia was attacking ruthlessly the civilian population of Mariupol. But that is another big lie. The Azov thugs placed their weapons and personnel in civilian neighborhoods and refused to let the civilians flee to safety. Russia could have flattened the city, turning it into a smoldering pile of rubble. They did not do that because they wanted to minimized civilian losses.
