IF that were truly the case, he would have worked with the ACA to make it better. It would have been much simpler, quicker and he would have had bipartisan support. His true motive for sabotaging the ACA is to stick it to Obama for embarrassing him over the lie of birtherism. For him, the health and life of Americans are less important that his bruised ego and revenge.
It is true. Trump has tweeted his desire to end the filibuster and expressed his desire for a more universal conservative approach.
in order for there to be bipartisan support there must be some type of common ground between both parties. such a common ground simply doesn't exist on healthcare. Rebulicans want free market price controls, less regulations and taxes, more state control on healthcare, less expensive mandates on insurance coverage. Democrats essentially want the exact opposite in form of socialist care. how exactly can there be comprise with such dissimilar views?
