Same here. Win7, the 64 bit version, admirably runs both 32bit and 64bit software without much of a hassle.
I've never been more comfortable than with my Win7-Ubuntu rig.
Win7's UI is sorta weird, though Sometimes you're typing and the window fades to the background (program still open) and leaves ya lookin' at the desktop. That's ben the one and ONLY issue I've had with win7 (And that's because I'm too lazy to read all the fancy things the new UI does).

But, I will tell you, I love playing with my new Google Chrome laptop.

I refuse to get Vista after watching my wife's Dell crash three times using it, and if I can't afford a Mac I REALLY can't afford Windows 7.

I only buy computers deprecated to Win XP SP3. Refuse to have W7 installed. The stability of XP more than meets my needs.
