I have learned that my right to free speech also apparently includes the right to poop on the hood of a police car. :noway:
Some of these OWS folks are also pulling off their shirts (women) and dropping their drawers. Many of the videos were not fit to post much less view. I ended up turning them off before they were finished. :vomit:

A different view:

The tea party guys used the same excuse. I don't find it very convincing this time, either. That telephone conversation, in which Wisconsin gov. Walker admitted he had considered hiring people to do that, was not actually with Koch. It was an imposter.

Far as we know, neither Koch brothers has done it. To be fair, we don't know that the liberals were putting people up to threatening violence or carrying posters attacking blacks and Jewish people at tea party rallies, either.

If by "a different view" you mean a sarcastic comment because I thought your post was wrong, then OK. :chuckle:

Fine, except chemtrails are produced only by cropdusters and baselessly paranoid wingnuts. Unless by "chem" you mean kerosene and water vapor?

Barbie, this is just about the most intellectually dishonest post I have read in some time. Are you really going to try to compare the un organized, incoherent, convoluted messages of the occupy crowd with the tea party? Shame on you for not being able to be honest enough to see the differences through your outright bias, truly pathetic :nono:

Barbie doesn't see through enough. Occupy=good guys. Tea Party=bad guys. Thems the facts.

HEY NEWT, you jerk. Lose your job and get dirty. Then maybe you'll understand what Americans are feeling these days.

Meanwhile, I truly wish our brother Occupy revolutionaries in Tahrir Square well.

We need democracy, and don't have it, in Egypt and in America.

The facts according to you are not factual. The fact is your rogue group of hippie anarchist bretheren don't have enough brain cells amongst them to form a coherent message, nor do they have the leadership skills to organize. It is a flash in the pan at best that will fizzle as quick as it came.

And all of king Obama's horseman, and all of Soros' men couldn't put the occupy movement back together again...:chuckle:

The only way in which capitalism can work in the long term is by putting money into the hands of people, so that they can buy and manufacturers can make.

That is the essence of the socialist argument.

Squeasing people and pouring our money into the pockets of the few, who syphon it out of the economy ALWAYS leads by and by to stagnation.

The Tories do it in Britain, the Reps do it in America [they call it small government or rolling back the state...sounds grand don't it?] it always means if you are rich you can have things, if you are poor you can't...even very basic things like healthcare.

By the time the stagnation sinks in the Ronny Reagans and the Thatchers have long gone and so the Democrats or the Labour party have to carry the can. Yes they DO spend because the conservatives rip the heart out of education, housing, and healthcare and all other public spending and they leave society in a mess.

And as we've seen throughout history, socialism doesn't work.

Even if legalized theft were universally accepted (the forceful taking from the "haves" and giving to the "have nots" is theft), those that were given something for nothing would end up broke, and those that knew how to make their money work would be financially successful again. (You'd be back to square one Totton)

Let the free market work it's magic, it helps the poor as well.

Capitalism has worked that way for thousands of years.
That is the essence of the socialist argument.
No, it isn't. Socialism steals capital and concentrates it in the hands of a few despots.

Your social order is a mess and you have been under socialism for the last 50 years.

IT should be obvious that quoting or posting a few protesters who are not sure how to speak their message means nothing. These folks are not pundits or politicians. But this one is very good:

You guys can't see the point I made above. It is NOT obvious to you. That really shows just WHO are the ones who are incoherent. You guys are.

It is not working that way now, and frequently doesn't when allowed to run wild in the Reagan style.
No, it isn't. Socialism steals capital and concentrates it in the hands of a few despots.
Democratic socialism puts money in the hands of the people instead of a few rich fat cats.
That is the essence of Socialism.
That is the essence of right-wing capitalism. Stagnation and decline, like what we have in America.
Your social order is a mess and you have been under socialism for the last 50 years.
Your social order is a mess and you have been under free market ideology for the last 30 years.

We are the 99%. You support the 1%. And that's all who benefits from your ideology.

And as we've seen throughout history, socialism doesn't work.
As we've seen throughout history, right-wing free market ideology doesn't work. But you don't know history. You don't even remember what happened in 1929, let alone 2008.
Even if legalized theft were universally accepted (the forceful taking from the "haves" and giving to the "have nots" is theft), those that were given something for nothing would end up broke, and those that knew how to make their money work would be financially successful again. Trickle-down doesn't trickle. The magic is the deception of free market ideology that pulls the wool over your eyes. You have been hoodwincked very severely. "Free market" works for the 1% and hurts everyone else. The rich today are the thieves, not the liberals. Social programs help the rich as well.
