Who is the source of light? Lets look:
John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. 4
In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.
John 3:19
And this is the condemnation, that
the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
John 8:12 Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying,
“I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”
John 14:6
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
2 Corinthians 4:4
whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe,
lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.
1 John 1:5
This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you,
that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all.
Jesus Christ is God who is the light and only through Him comes to the Father, or becomes "illuminated" and here is how this is done:
Romans 10:9 t
hat if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
