Buzz, in the end you are right. One of these morons will be elected. And your vote will not be the difference in the election. However, your vote will make a difference to your children and your relationship with God.

As for me...
I will leave the voting booth with head held high. I will lay in bed that night knowing that I didn't cast a vote for a man who mandated that hospitals murder children even when it was against their beliefs.

Dave, I want the RNC to fail and to consider switching parties. Meaning those in control on top. It isn't giving up, in fact it is fight back.

I'm not talking about a "Republican". I'm talking about all these (in my view) ignorant people who will either not vote or are voting for some idiot who is still running and doesn't have a chance in hell of winning. THEY want someone more conservative than Mitt. I agree, Mitt is not what "conservatives" want. All this whining and complain serves absolutely nothing and no one. It is just crybaby politics, and accomplishes not a damn thing. Those who are fed up with the current political system, are doing NOTHING to improve it, but whine and complain.

What do you mean doing NOTHING to improve it? People are involved. They take a chance and run themselves, mostly local but it's a step in the right direction. The Ron Paul campaign did leaps and bounds above what can be expected on a national level to get new blood, new faces into the realm of politics. Young people who give a rip about where this nation is headed. And what happened at the convention? Conservatives had their shot at a "conservative" and choose to oppress and outright thuggery to shut em up. Don't talk to me about crybaby politics Dave. We work within the system, only to be thrown out by political bigwigs. I think you really need to get your head from being planted in your hindend and actually look around. Your plan has been tried, over and over again. Yet it continues. I love groups like the teaparty, but unfortunately now they are being co opted by big government fascists. We do what we can do, within the system, as you say. Yet we are railroaded every stinking time.

So fricking what? Are you giving up? Who is the "RIGHT" guy? Where is he?

I will never give up. You had the right guy, and blew it.

You have to work within in the system, or change the system, and whining and complaining about it not being any better now than it has been the last several elections accomplishes nothing. You have NO solution. Unlike those who are ignorantly throwing their vote away, I have a solution. Let's not hand the country over to the bastard President who is proactively trying to destroy America, and give ourselves more time to start endorsing the ONE that you guys think will do it "right" in 2016.

Again, we have worked within the system and has gotten us nowhere. And the change needed, you won't do. So no one is whining and complaining, just we state facts. We have solutions, just they are shot down every single time. The current President loves his country, I have no doubt. But his love for this nation is based on societal ills that he thinks he can fix by stepping on others. Newsflash for you Dave, Romney is no different. So vote for Romney as you hold your nose. And in 4 years, we will see exactly what the "conservatives" have brought us to defeat Romney.....Answer: NOBODY.

It's the American Dream folks, cause you gotta be dreaming to believe it.

I have to tell you, I voted for Howard Phillips in 1996. And walking out it felt real good. The RNC ran that big government, big tax lover Bob Dole out there that year.

Honest question Nick. That was back in 96. How do you feel about it now?

where does it say that Romney did this?

Massachusetts.

Romneycare was far worse than Obamacare. Barry is probably jealous he wasn't able to accomplish what Mitt was able to accomplish.

Both the socialist Democrats and the corporatist Republicans in Washington, D.C., meet together in pointing the bayonet against the American citizenry. And you really wonder why nothing significant changes in this country? Just a rhetorical, not toward you Knight in any way.

Good. Why?

There is a sizable difference in Mitt Romney and Barack Obama. Obama is trying to destroy the US economy. Romney will not try to destroy it.

Bill Clinton and Bob Dole, now that was when there was no difference.

Well, correct me if I am wrong, but Phillips is more old right than new right, which I apologize in advance doesn't seem like someone you would be interested in.

I don't believe that. The two parties don't agree on HOW government will take our liberties. Where they are similar is in the fact that neither of them has any interest in preserving liberty. Until the American people awaken to this reality, whatever freedoms we have left in this country are doomed.

Buzz, so I think we exhausted this topic between us fairly well. One thing I refuse to do is lose the friendship or fellowship with any of my friends and family over this issue.

I believe this is a complicated issue and while disagree with your position I understand it.

And the funny thing is.... on election night, if Obama gets swept out of office I will be glad. I will celebrate! Because I will be glad that there is a referendum against his socialistic and sloppy administration.

And then, I will set my sights on Romney opposing anything he does that is immoral or harmful to this country.

Thanks brother.

I would love to share a beer with you, as we plan our assault on Romney, and bring Americans together to endorse someone that will champion those causes that we stand for.

I agree with this sentiment.

I think Dave is one of the brightest here. I think I have lost him as a friend though, being he has told me publicly that I am his enemy. Now if he meant that or not, I don't know.
