 Palin didn't run against Obama. She ran against Biden.

How's silver foot Joe been doing these past two and a half years?

I hear his vice-presidency has been a big ****ing deal.

not
:darwinsm: Hey! I really like Joe "Stand up, Chuck!" Biden. I think he should give a speech where he has a "workin' man's" lunchbox tucked under his arm. (Background music is old hymn, "Bringing in the Sheaves.")

"Barbarians at the gates" is a great line.

If memory serves, it was John Nance Garner who said that the job of Vice-President "wasn't worth a bucket of warm spit."

For entertainment value, the veep can't be beat. Have you seen what The Onion's been doing with him? Classic stuff.

...and I think Joe's predecessor proved Mr. Garner mistaken.:noid:

That may be, but if I'd voted for him and actually bought into the rhetoric and the promises, I'd be infuriated. He hasn't just failed to deliver--he's directly betrayed what he sold the supporters who believed in him. I think trusting a politician is a sucker's bet, but many of the folks who voted for him really trusted the guy. He's broken every single promise he made and has pursued policies so directly opposed to what he ran as, against, and for, that it's nothing short of astonishing anyone listens to him anymore.

I know what you mean...............not.

Regarding Bin Laden:

Regarding jobs and the Stimulus Plan:
I believe it’s also important to use “facts” to refute the myth that the stimulus was a failure and didn’t help the economy. In addition to providing apprx. 300 billion in middle-class tax cuts and another 300 to struggling states, it did this according to the CBO:
..."CBO estimates that ARRA’s policies had the following effects in the first quarter of calendar year 2011:

1. They raised real (inflation-adjusted) gross domestic product by between 1.1 percent and 3.1 percent,
2. Lowered the unemployment rate by between 0.6 percentage points and 1.8 percentage points,
3. Increased the number of people employed by between 1.2 million and 3.3 million, and
4. increased the number of full-time-equivalent (FTE) jobs by 1.6 million to 4.6 million compared with what would have occurred otherwise. (Increases in FTE jobs include shifts from part-time to full-time work or overtime and are thus generally larger than increases in the number of employed workers).”

Many of promises fulfilled were passed without fanfare because they were attached to other pieces of legislation. It is totally unfair for anyone to suggest he’s not delivering on his promises.

I did not vote at all in the last election because both of the hopeful candidates were speaking fantasies which I knew could not be achieved...

..Obama has made some mistakes, but I think his opponent would have made worse ones for our country.

Please don't be offended but you are an idiot for not voting. People have risked their lives fighting and protesting for that right.

Kennedy was elected with a lead of 112,827 votes, or 0.1% of the popular vote,

Yes, I voted for Obama, and I don;t regret it the least bit. Of course he's hardly perfect. I've never considered him "the Messiah" or the "chosen one", and don't worship him. But I don't demonize him either, and consider him to be the anti-christ.
And with the awful Republican competition, I intend to vote for him again.
Palin, Perry, Santorum, Paul - I would sooner vote for a clam for President.
These people are without a doubt the worst ever to attempt to gain the Presidency. Any of them would make our current problems look like a picnic if elected . And I don't want a President who wants to force women to bear children against their will ! That is asking for a catastrophe !

For the love of all that is good in this world, please stop typing. Did they get pregnant against their will? Last time I checked (and my wife and I have three children so I feel pretty confident about this one) sex is a consentual act (except in cases of rape). If you don't want to get pregnant, stop having sex. I hear the pregnancy rate drops dramatically if you do.

i know someone who was "forced" to have a baby because she was Catholic and didn't believe in murdering the unborn. Her religious beliefs "forced" her to have the child, which she then relinquished for adotpion..

both mother and child are doing very well, thank you

whereas if you will read books on Post Abortion Syndrome, the same is NOT true of women who abort their children.. no, in that case, the children are DEAD, never to return, and the woman is left with guilt, remorse, self-destructive tendencies, bitterness toward men, etc.... etc.... etc

but then, maybe you don't read much

reading extensively, admittedly, is not required in order 2 have an opinion..

even so

we all know what opinions are like

but WE, the ones who know better,

have plenty of regret

i sometimes wonder if all the natural disasters this nation is experiencing has to do with God's wrath against ... primarily abortion and those who support it.

But BHO will likely never have to worry about being hit with one of those disasters...

the devil only attacks those he doesn't already have
