Misunderstanding. All the other actors are acting, because they don't join the fray, they stay away from hot-button or third-rail issues because their business brand is more valuable if viewers aren't turned off by their politics or morals.
This applies to all celebrities. Few of them as a rule disclose their personal views on controversial matters. They are only acting like they don't have personal views on controversial matters. That's the act I'm talking about.

Memes often use overly exaggerated imagery to make a point.
This meme is one of those cases because the ticket sales for both movies was very close.
However, there are other circumstances that makes the success of Sound of Freedom noticeable, some of which are:
a. a relatively unknown film vs. a longstanding classic favorite
b. Sound of Freedom was shown in 1/2 the amount of theaters Indiana Jones was
c. We the People chose to see the movie despite the negative rhetoric on social media

And d. The large percentage of critics trying to flush Sound of Freedom down the memory hole by refusing to critique it at all.

Because both the actor and the character he portrays have links to the same outfit. Not to mention that there is a lot of criticism from anti traffickers for all sorts of discrepancies and inaccuracies within the film. It's doubtless one of the talking points of late but it's not a film to take at face value, that's for sure.
