Both. The ethnic believing seed is heir to the promises made to the Fathers.

The body of Christ is the spiritual seed of Abraham and is heirs with Christ. We reign with him in heaven.

He was telling the Corinthians that he was ethnically hebrew. The promises to Abraham were concerning his ethnic children. We have no claim to land promises. He was cut off from those promises when he persecuted the Holy Spirit in the form of the followers and claimed they were evil. He was forgiven and given new promises which belong to us all now.

If you are in Christ, you are Abraham's seed but not ethnically. You are spiritual seed of Abraham. The promise was not the promises to the fathers but the promise given to Abraham while uncircumcised.

We do indeed belong to Christ and we are Abraham's seed according to faith. We are not Abraham's seed according to ethnicity. It's a spiritual seed. All the promises in the OT were to Abraham's seed according to the flesh.
