Hi John,

If we are honest, we must be brazenly open and vulnerable to reality, especially when facing the 'ultimate questions' of life, recognizing that we see thru a glass darkly, our perceptions mirrored, reflected and distorted thru so many appearances and images. While the 'pure awareness' behind the mind's perception may be unstained in its original essence, the illusion (maya) of the senses distorts the light, translating it into so many projections as its 'creative play', until it gathers its pure knowledge back into itself, and returns 'home'.

Intuitively I assume it, since at the heart of all there seems to be that prior reality from which any concept of it arises, so the eternal and infinite is first and foremost the 'mother' of all. Love gives birth, nurtures, generates, enables, empowers, begets...so that creation itself...is her 'production'. In this light, we honor/reverence the Divine Mother.

Definitely,....the UB holds the eternal progression and evolution of souls as its major theme for mortals, who are given the wondrous opportunity to assume and become one with that divine essence and pre-personal spirit-presence (the Thought-Adjuster) within, therefore 'putting on immortality',....sealing their 'eternal survival' as a 'finaliter' in the coming ages of future eternity. We can only imagine what life will be like as an 'immortalized' being continuing on in whatever service the higher powers lay before us, we being co-creators in the divine plan.

Metaphysically speaking yes,...yet the papers expound upon the intricate and complex inter-relations of soul & spirit with all the other enjoining forces within and about us, coordinating along the personal and cosmic path of evolutionary progress and perfection-attainment.

Love is truly at the heart of all, since life's very essence originates from a principled source which is lawful unto itself, whose will expresses as 'creation' and all its movements. While the Spirit-essence of divinity is love itself, that 'love' is revealed and expressed in the context of 'relationship', hence creation is the 'heart', 'spirit' the vital-energy, consciousness the 'light'.

The matterial realm of space-time is the network, web, matrix where love adventures, risks and faces the challenges of adversity, duality, change, disintegration, all the apparent handicaps and trials of mortality. In the greater context however, all is happening due to mechanisms within the cosmos itself, which are lawful, fulfilling themselves accordingly, ever still within the ultimate sovereignty of the Infinite. All is ever in reality ultimately serving the Supreme Being, the One that originates, upholds, guides, governs the laws operative behind All That Is. We relate to this first and original Personality as the 'Universal Father'. - by nature and creative law,...'Deity' is also our 'Mother'.....our 'Father-Mother-God'.

Thanks Caino,.....I'm a member of at least one group on there, but dont visit the page that often. Its all a creative venture for me, so that anything shared here is a springboard for readers to tap into the 'collective' as it were, the general pool of knowledge that interfaces this revelation, so I often draw from a 'metric-flow' or 'rhythmic pattern' that weaves thru the papers as there is an interesting 'symmetry' found therein. There is a 'mathematical' quality to some of its logic and philosophy. A few favorite quotes -

2:7.11 All truth — material, philosophic, or spiritual — is both beautiful and good. All real beauty — material art or spiritual symmetry — is both true and good. All genuine goodness — whether personal morality, social equity, or divine ministry — is equally true and beautiful. Health, sanity, and happiness are integrations of truth, beauty, and goodness as they are blended in human experience. Such levels of efficient living come about through the unification of energy systems, idea systems, and spirit systems.

111:1.6 Mind is the cosmic instrument on which the human will can play the discords of destruction, or upon which this same human will can bring forth the exquisite melodies of God identification and consequent eternal survival. The Adjuster bestowed upon man is, in the last analysis, impervious to evil and incapable of sin, but mortal mind can actually be twisted, distorted, and rendered evil and ugly by the sinful machinations of a perverse and self-seeking human will. Likewise can this mind be made noble, beautiful, true, and good — actually great — in accordance with the spirit-illuminated will of a God-knowing human being.

195:7.20 Science lives by the mathematics of the mind; music expresses the tempo of the emotions. Religion is the spiritual rhythm of the soul in time-space harmony with the higher and eternal melody measurements of Infinity. Religious experience is something in human life which is truly supermathematical.

104:3.2 Mortal man is passing through a great age of expanding horizons and enlarging concepts on Urantia, and his cosmic philosophy must accelerate in evolution to keep pace with the expansion of the intellectual arena of human thought. As the cosmic consciousness of mortal man expands, he perceives the interrelatedness of all that he finds in his material science, intellectual philosophy, and spiritual insight. Still, with all this belief in the unity of the cosmos, man perceives the diversity of all existence. In spite of all concepts concerning the immutability of Deity, man perceives that he lives in a universe of constant change and experiential growth. Regardless of the realization of the survival of spiritual values, man has ever to reckon with the mathematics and premathematics of force, energy, and power.

111:6.4 The spirit can dominate mind; so mind can control energy. But mind can control energy only through its own intelligent manipulation of the metamorphic potentials inherent in the mathematical level of the causes and effects of the physical domains. Creature mind does not inherently control energy; that is a Deity prerogative. But creature mind can and does manipulate energy just in so far as it has become master of the energy secrets of the physical universe.

At age 8, we have this interesting observation about Jesus -

123:6.3 About this time Jesus met a teacher of mathematics from Damascus, and learning some new techniques of numbers, he spent much time on mathematics for several years. He developed a keen sense of numbers, distances, and proportions.

Jesus the supreme example of self-mastery........

Jesus the supreme example of self-mastery........

Lesson on Self-Mastery

(1609.2) 143:2.1 The Master was a perfected specimen of human self-control. When he was reviled, he reviled not; when he suffered, he uttered no threats against his tormentors; when he was denounced by his enemies, he simply committed himself to the righteous judgment of the Father in heaven.

(1609.3) 143:2.2 At one of the evening conferences, Andrew asked Jesus: “Master, are we to practice self-denial as John taught us, or are we to strive for the self-control of your teaching? Wherein does your teaching differ from that of John?” Jesus answered: “John indeed taught you the way of righteousness in accordance with the light and laws of his fathers, and that was the religion of self-examination and self-denial. But I come with a new message of self-forgetfulness and self-control. I show to you the way of life as revealed to me by my Father in heaven.

(1609.4) 143:2.3 “Verily, verily, I say to you, he who rules his own self is greater than he who captures a city. Self-mastery is the measure of man’s moral nature and the indicator of his spiritual development. In the old order you fasted and prayed; as the new creature of the rebirth of the spirit, you are taught to believe and rejoice. In the Father’s kingdom you are to become new creatures; old things are to pass away; behold I show you how all things are to become new. And by your love for one another you are to convince the world that you have passed from bondage to liberty, from death into life everlasting.

(1609.5) 143:2.4 “By the old way you seek to suppress, obey, and conform to the rules of living; by the new way you are first transformed by the Spirit of Truth and thereby strengthened in your inner soul by the constant spiritual renewing of your mind, and so are you endowed with the power of the certain and joyous performance of the gracious, acceptable, and perfect will of God. Forget not — it is your personal faith in the exceedingly great and precious promises of God that ensures your becoming partakers of the divine nature. Thus by your faith and the spirit’s transformation, you become in reality the temples of God, and his spirit actually dwells within you. If, then, the spirit dwells within you, you are no longer bondslaves of the flesh but free and liberated sons of the spirit. The new law of the spirit endows you with the liberty of self-mastery in place of the old law of the fear of self-bondage and the slavery of self-denial.

(1609.6) 143:2.5 “Many times, when you have done evil, you have thought to charge up your acts to the influence of the evil one when in reality you have but been led astray by your own natural tendencies. Did not the Prophet Jeremiah long ago tell you that the human heart is deceitful above all things and sometimes even desperately wicked? How easy for you to become self-deceived and thereby fall into foolish fears, divers lusts, enslaving pleasures, malice, envy, and even vengeful hatred!

(1610.1) 143:2.6 “Salvation is by the regeneration of the spirit and not by the self-righteous deeds of the flesh. You are justified by faith and fellowshipped by grace, not by fear and the self-denial of the flesh, albeit the Father’s children who have been born of the spirit are ever and always masters of the self and all that pertains to the desires of the flesh. When you know that you are saved by faith, you have real peace with God. And all who follow in the way of this heavenly peace are destined to be sanctified to the eternal service of the ever-advancing sons of the eternal God. Henceforth, it is not a duty but rather your exalted privilege to cleanse yourselves from all evils of mind and body while you seek for perfection in the love of God.

(1610.2) 143:2.7 “Your sonship is grounded in faith, and you are to remain unmoved by fear. Your joy is born of trust in the divine word, and you shall not therefore be led to doubt the reality of the Father’s love and mercy. It is the very goodness of God that leads men into true and genuine repentance. Your secret of the mastery of self is bound up with your faith in the indwelling spirit, which ever works by love. Even this saving faith you have not of yourselves; it also is the gift of God. And if you are the children of this living faith, you are no longer the bondslaves of self but rather the triumphant masters of yourselves, the liberated sons of God.

(1610.3) 143:2.8 “If, then, my children, you are born of the spirit, you are forever delivered from the self-conscious bondage of a life of self-denial and watchcare over the desires of the flesh, and you are translated into the joyous kingdom of the spirit, whence you spontaneously show forth the fruits of the spirit in your daily lives; and the fruits of the spirit are the essence of the highest type of enjoyable and ennobling self-control, even the heights of terrestrial mortal attainment — true self-mastery.”

Audio version of this section - here

Above is a clear presentation of how one achieves 'self-mastery', which alone is the way towards 'overcoming' the lower nature whereby one ever abides in the renewal and regenerating power of the Spirit. Since Jesus is our Exemplar, he calls all to walk the same path of self-surrender, self-transcendence and self-mastery. Beyond the many formulas or theologies of redemption or 'salvation' espoused by men, ultimately it is mastery of the 'self' and spiritual transformation of one's being that avails, whereby one becomes one with 'God', in 'spirit' and 'will'.

What part of Jesus address above did you disagree with? Jesus moral, ethical and spiritual teachings recorded in the UB resonate with the essential message found in the gospels yet enhanced/expanded with information provided by the revelators.

180:5.2 Divine truth is a spirit-discerned and living reality. Truth exists only on high spiritual levels of the realization of divinity and the consciousness of communion with God. You can know the truth, and you can live the truth; you can experience the growth of truth in the soul and enjoy the liberty of its enlightenment in the mind, but you cannot imprison truth in formulas, codes, creeds, or intellectual patterns of human conduct. When you undertake the human formulation of divine truth, it speedily dies. The post-mortem salvage of imprisoned truth, even at best, can eventuate only in the realization of a peculiar form of intellectualized glorified wisdom. Static truth is dead truth, and only dead truth can be held as a theory. Living truth is dynamic and can enjoy only an experiential existence in the human mind.

They're all blinded by their own soulical arrogance of presuming to ascend and evolve to spirit, etc.

Typical depravity of man with the convolutions of antichrist esotericism to parallel the true faith.

If it weren't so pervasive and sad, it would be hilarious. It's like a bad low-budget B-movie. Dianetics 2, or whatever. Only this time, by alien revelators themselves.

And the agenda is to undermine and destroy the true Christian faith by any and all means. But the proponents don't even know the extent of both their soulical and spiritual pathology.

All of it, since it is pure fiction.

You'll need to specify which parts are 'fiction' (specifically the last 2 or 3 posts before your 'balderdash' comment). Jesus dissertation on 'self-mastery' stands, as well as his teaching on the kingdom as expounded in the papers. A blanket 'charge' of 'presumption' and 'ignorance' of the material on your part doesn't hold.

There is just as much 'fiction', 'myth', 'allegory', 'symbolism' in the Bible and other religious writings, albiet in different terms...since such was written by human scribes, mediums, prophets who are subject to the limitations of language, culture-context and their own imperfections. (plus further 'doctoring' of texts in some cases).

The 'revelation' is from hell and is nothing more than demons, pretending to be angels, revealing half-truths by plagiarizing the Bible, which makes them into WHOLE-LIES.

The content, principles, meanings and values speak for themselves, as in any religious-philosophical discourse. The continual demonizing is a unnecessary gesture to one who can value and appreciate truth or allegory in whatever form or venue its communicated thru.

How can you not see this simple Truth?

Truth is 'universal', however we may differentiate between 'absolute' and 'relative' truth, since only what is absolute can know what is absolute, while the translation-filter of the human mind distorts and conditions truth-perception and is limited by constitution and capacity-modifiers (hence from our perception conditioned by space-time, our concept of truth is 'relative' by default of such conditioning-factors).

2:7.1 All finite knowledge and creature understanding are relative. Information and intelligence, gleaned from even high sources, is only relatively complete, locally accurate, and personally true.

2:7.2 Physical facts are fairly uniform, but truth is a living and flexible factor in the philosophy of the universe. Evolving personalities are only partially wise and relatively true in their communications. They can be certain only as far as their personal experience extends. That which apparently may be wholly true in one place may be only relatively true in another segment of creation.

2:7.3 Divine truth, final truth, is uniform and universal, but the story of things spiritual, as it is told by numerous individuals hailing from various spheres, may sometimes vary in details owing to this relativity in the completeness of knowledge and in the repleteness of personal experience as well as in the length and extent of that experience. While the laws and decrees, the thoughts and attitudes, of the First Great Source and Center are eternally, infinitely, and universally true; at the same time, their application to, and adjustment for, every universe, system, world, and created intelligence, are in accordance with the plans and technique of the Creator Sons as they function in their respective universes, as well as in harmony with the local plans and procedures of the Infinite Spirit and of all other associated celestial personalities.

The Nature of God (Paper 2)

~*~*~

Summarizing Jesus teaching -

140:10.9 John asked Jesus, “Master, what is the kingdom of heaven?” And Jesus answered: “The kingdom of heaven consists in these three essentials: first, recognition of the fact of the sovereignty of God; second, belief in the truth of sonship with God; and third, faith in the effectiveness of the supreme human desire to do the will of God — to be like God. And this is the good news of the gospel: that by faith every mortal may have all these essentials of salvation.”

The UB is a collection of papers(chapters), like the Bible, Upanishads, sutras, etc. are a collection of various books used by a particular religious community or tradition. The UB, in various parts or as a whole can be accepted, rejected or used in whatever ways as it relates to life and the subjects of science, philosophy and religion which it expounds upon.

The UB serves as a wonderful springboard to engage 'creative dialogue' on the subjects it covers. Thats what I use this thread for,....'inter-action', 'expanding consciousness', 'interesting discussion', 'new discovery'. Its not a matter of 'swallowing', but 'considering'.

Actually, I would be doing you a severe disservice were I to not make you aware of the Truth; not to mention the trouble I would get into when I get home...

Ezekiel 33:7-9
So thou, O son of man, I have set thee a watchman unto the house of Israel; therefore thou shalt hear the word at my mouth, and warn them from me. When I say unto the wicked, O wicked man, thou shalt surely die; if thou dost not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand. Paper 195

(2069.1) 195:0.1 THE results of Peter’s preaching on the day of Pentecost were such as to decide the future policies, and to determine the plans, of the majority of the apostles in their efforts to proclaim the gospel of the kingdom. Peter was the real founder of the Christian church; Paul carried the Christian message to the gentiles, and the Greek believers carried it to the whole Roman Empire.

(2069.2) 195:0.2 Although the tradition-bound and priest-ridden Hebrews, as a people, refused to accept either Jesus’ gospel of the fatherhood of God and the brotherhood of man or Peter’s and Paul’s proclamation of the resurrection and ascension of Christ (subsequent Christianity), the rest of the Roman Empire was found to be receptive to the evolving Christian teachings. Western civilization was at this time intellectual, war weary, and thoroughly skeptical of all existing religions and universe philosophies. The peoples of the Western world, the beneficiaries of Greek culture, had a revered tradition of a great past. They could contemplate the inheritance of great accomplishments in philosophy, art, literature, and political progress. But with all these achievements they had no soul-satisfying religion. Their spiritual longings remained unsatisfied.

(2069.3) 195:0.3 Upon such a stage of human society the teachings of Jesus, embraced in the Christian message, were suddenly thrust. A new order of living was thus presented to the hungry hearts of these Western peoples. This situation meant immediate conflict between the older religious practices and the new Christianized version of Jesus’ message to the world. Such a conflict must result in either decided victory for the new or for the old or in some degree of compromise. History shows that the struggle ended in compromise. Christianity presumed to embrace too much for any one people to assimilate in one or two generations. It was not a simple spiritual appeal, such as Jesus had presented to the souls of men; it early struck a decided attitude on religious rituals, education, magic, medicine, art, literature, law, government, morals, sex regulation, polygamy, and, in limited degree, even slavery. Christianity came not merely as a new religion — something all the Roman Empire and all the Orient were waiting for — but as a new order of human society. And as such a pretension it quickly precipitated the social-moral clash of the ages. The ideals of Jesus, as they were reinterpreted by Greek philosophy and socialized in Christianity, now boldly challenged the traditions of the human race embodied in the ethics, morality, and religions of Western civilization.

(2069.4) 195:0.4 At first, Christianity won as converts only the lower social and economic strata. But by the beginning of the second century the very best of Greco-Roman culture was increasingly turning to this new order of Christian belief, this new concept of the purpose of living and the goal of existence.

(2070.1) 195:0.5 How did this new message of Jewish origin, which had almost failed in the land of its birth, so quickly and effectively capture the very best minds of the Roman Empire? The triumph of Christianity over the philosophic religions and the mystery cults was due to:

(2070.2) 195:0.6 1. Organization. Paul was a great organizer and his successors kept up the pace he set.

(2070.3) 195:0.7 2. Christianity was thoroughly Hellenized. It embraced the best in Greek philosophy as well as the cream of Hebrew theology.

(2070.4) 195:0.8 3. But best of all, it contained a new and great ideal, the echo of the life bestowal of Jesus and the reflection of his message of salvation for all mankind.

(2070.5) 195:0.9 4. The Christian leaders were willing to make such compromises with Mithraism that the better half of its adherents were won over to the Antioch cult.

(2070.6) 195:0.10 5. Likewise did the next and later generations of Christian leaders make such further compromises with paganism that even the Roman emperor Constantine was won to the new religion.

(2070.7) 195:0.11 But the Christians made a shrewd bargain with the pagans in that they adopted the ritualistic pageantry of the pagan while compelling the pagan to accept the Hellenized version of Pauline Christianity. They made a better bargain with the pagans than they did with the Mithraic cult, but even in that earlier compromise they came off more than conquerors in that they succeeded in eliminating the gross immoralities and also numerous other reprehensible practices of the Persian mystery.

(2070.8) 195:0.12 Wisely or unwisely, these early leaders of Christianity deliberately compromised the ideals of Jesus in an effort to save and further many of his ideas. And they were eminently successful. But mistake not! these compromised ideals of the Master are still latent in his gospel, and they will eventually assert their full power upon the world.

(2070.9) 195:0.13 By this paganization of Christianity the old order won many minor victories of a ritualistic nature, but the Christians gained the ascendancy in that:

(2070.10) 195:0.14 1. A new and enormously higher note in human morals was struck.

(2070.11) 195:0.15 2. A new and greatly enlarged concept of God was given to the world.

(2070.12) 195:0.16 3. The hope of immortality became a part of the assurance of a recognized religion.

(2070.13) 195:0.17 4. Jesus of Nazareth was given to man’s hungry soul.

(2070.14) 195:0.18 Many of the great truths taught by Jesus were almost lost in these early compromises, but they yet slumber in this religion of paganized Christianity, which was in turn the Pauline version of the life and teachings of the Son of Man. And Christianity, even before it was paganized, was first thoroughly Hellenized. Christianity owes much, very much, to the Greeks. It was a Greek, from Egypt, who so bravely stood up at Nicaea and so fearlessly challenged this assembly that it dared not so obscure the concept of the nature of Jesus that the real truth of his bestowal might have been in danger of being lost to the world. This Greek’s name was Athanasius, and but for the eloquence and the logic of this believer, the persuasions of Arius would have triumphed.

I did. All of it.

You fail to prove that, let alone any specific points apart from a blanket statement continually reflecting your own presumptions and ignorance of the papers themselves. Without a proper knowledge of the papers (fundamental to the discussion/subject here) or an intuitive sense that "truth is universal" and is not limited to any one person, culture or religious tradition...a constructive dialogue cannot be had. This has been stated here over and over.

You mis-spelled his name: it's J-e-B-u-s... your false god depicted by the UB is NOT The Christ.Actually it does.

The burden of proof is on you to prove your statement, beyond "because I say so". The teachings of Jesus in Part 4 of the UB stand on their own merit, wisdom or authority, confirming the gospel-accounts and adding more light where needed.

Actually it does.

Galatians 1:9
As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.

This pious statement by Paul does not disprove the UB. What it does show is Paul's exaltation and boasting in his own gospel-message(and accummalative revelations) as things got heated between he and Peter and the original apostles of Jesus at Jerusalem, since his message morphed into its own 'entity' as it were putting a bigger wedge between the original assembly in Jerusalem led by James the Just (the Lord's brother) and his own agenda.

One could equally say that this 'curse' by Paul could apply to Jesus, since Jesus message and revelation from his Father is distinctly different than Paul's gospel on multiple levels, although commonalities on themes of the kingdom, ethical/moral principles, etc. would naturally be shared.

Research on Paul

Dead wrong...

2 Peter 1:21
For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

My former statement holds. 2 Peter is a pseudograpical work for starters, and is equally weak in its use to support Paul's writing as 'scripture'.

Revelation is 'progressive', ever unfolding as man's capacity and need for it arises, the heavens granting such in various dispensations of time.

Nevertheless, if thou warn the wicked of his way to turn from it; if he do not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.

My former statement holds. The above attribution is the height of egoity and self-righteousness, since it assumes I'm wicked or sinful. The principle of warning one who is in harms way is appropriate, but one can be wrong as his perceptions and assumptions can be misguided or mal-informed.

Well... I DO know that The Holy Bible is ABSOLUTE Truth and the UB is ABSOLUTE fiction.

You assume such, but cannot prove the Bible is 'absolute truth', anymore than you can prove the UB is absolute fiction, which is an absurdity since the Bible contains a rather diverse share of mythology, cultural-belief inflections, allegories, literary devices, tribal concoctions, interpolations, creative editing, etc.

Using the word 'absolute' here is also ridiculous in terms of human knowledge, since the 'statement' itself is 'relative' at best, assuming a contrast, when both could be treated as 'religious fiction' beyond what could be proved otherwise.

130:4.2 The source of universe reality is the Infinite. The material things of finite creation are the time-space repercussions of the Paradise Pattern and the Universal Mind of the eternal God. Causation in the physical world, self-consciousness in the intellectual world, and progressing selfhood in the spirit world — these realities, projected on a universal scale, combined in eternal relatedness, and experienced with perfection of quality and divinity of value — constitute the reality of the Supreme. But in an ever-changing universe the Original Personality of causation, intelligence, and spirit experience is changeless, absolute. All things, even in an eternal universe of limitless values and divine qualities, may, and oftentimes do, change except the Absolutes and that which has attained the physical status, intellectual embrace, or spiritual identity which is absolute.

We touched on earlier that only that which is 'absolute' is 'absolute', while all 'else' is 'relative', since it exists in a relationally complex, diverse and inter-associated way within the continuum of creation in a world of multiplicity. The UB deals quite extensively on these inter-associated cosmic processes and mechanisms. See (Abridged version of the papers) - Paper 118: Supreme and Ultimate--Time and Space

You fail to prove that... The burden of proof is on you to prove your statement, beyond "because I say so".
I don't have to... the UB speaks for itself as soon as it purports to be from God and then directly violates His Holy Word.
The teachings of Jesus in Part 4 of the UB stand on their own merit, wisdom or authority, confirming the gospel-accounts and adding more light where needed.
Yeah, about that... God doesn't need 'help' writing His Word. He said what He said because it was what He wanted to say. Now, two thousand years later, He changed His mind and wants to say something different? No. He isn't like that.
It is exactly because of the fact that you hold The Bible to be 'myth' that such nonsense as the UB can fool you. Scripture is from God. UB is from hell. You need to buy a clue.

2 Peter 1:21
For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

These writings were not concoctions, inflections, allegories or edited. They were inspired by The Holy Ghost (someone you have yet to meet).
Using the word 'absolute' here is also ridiculous in terms of human knowledge, since the 'statement' itself is 'relative' at best, assuming a contrast, when both could be treated as 'religious fiction' beyond what could be proved otherwise.
The proof is in the pudding. The Holy Bible proves Itself when we come into a dynamic and verifiable relationship with The Father.

Freelight,

The priesthood has always controlled the ignorant and uneducated masses by using the fear based teaching that God wrote the Bible. Its a kind of mental illness, you can't really reason with them, they are forbidden from using common sense. If Jesus appeared today like he did so naturally 2,000 years ago, these same indoctrinated people would try to kill him based on his liberalism and variance from the man made scripture. This is why Jesus warned people not to waste time by casting pearls of great truth before swine.

Hi Caino,

I agree.

I find myself being 'charitable' to continue 'dialogue' for the sake of the general readership, even though discussion with such a close-minded individual as repeated here seems fruitless. I continue to add to the space here insights and resources to those interested anyways, since the UB is a wonderful work, whether one regards it as 'religious fiction' or a valid dispensation of truth to humanity for this current age. What is saddening is the ignorance of the papers themselves and the preconceived judgment of such from a 'frozen' position that the Bible is all 'God' ever revealed (or will reveal) or is the sole source of reality which is rather 'myopic'.

The peculiar fact of the UB's existence and what it presents stirs the traditional waters on many fronts, - at least a conservative christian could consider it on philosophical grounds alone, in its contribution on religious principles and values, which is fundamental to the core-message. Without a person reading and considering at least the first 12 papers as recommended here previously....they wont have much of an understanding of the foundation, cosmology, context or framework of the revelation. If anything, the rich strata and profound insights of the revelations content could provide any intelligent religionist with endless material in which to embark stimulating dialogues. It doesnt hurt to consider new ideas in which the mind could be expanded, exploring a greater vision of the universe and life's purpose.

Also, my treatment of the papers are exploratory, philosophical and more of an innovative endeavor than anything, since I'm 'eclectic' in my approach, being more of a theosophist at heart,...so that 'truth' in any venue or religious tradition is accepted and included in the total cosmic picture of reality since the original Light is reflected thru an infinity of forms and a canopy of different languages.

There is nothing to fear as one goes forward in the discovery of truth, looking to the inner essence and principle of the spirit.

Yes, because the fear of The Lord is the beginning of wisdom. Without that fear, one tends to wander off the straight and narrow path that leads to life that SO VERY FEW seem to ever find.

Proverbs 9:10
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.

Matthew 7:14
Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

It just seems so sad to me that those who do NOT fear The Lord, and don't believe His Word was inspired stray from The Path so much that they follow false gods. Knowing God brings us into understanding. Not just understanding of Him but also ALL Truth.

No, we simply know better than to believe fiction is actual reality. If I'm not mistaken, those who confuse the two are often placed into jackets with really long sleeves that buckle in the back. :duh:
If Jesus appeared today like he did so naturally 2,000 years ago, these same indoctrinated people would try to kill him based on his liberalism and variance from the man made scripture.
If he appeared today, He'd let His people know through His prophets, first.
This is why Jesus warned people not to waste time by casting pearls of great truth before swine.
Sorry, you're not allowed to use a quote from a book that you don't place any faith in to stab someone in the back.
