If one was a democrat and only interested in the good of the democrat party, the smartest thing to do would be to damage Trump as much as possible, short of impeachment. Obviously, Pence would be a stronger and more effective president, and very likely, much of Trump's agenda would have been implemented by now, if Pence was calling the shots.
Trump is his own worst enemy all by himself.

The typical comments I'm reading from Trump supporters is that what Donald Jr. did is no worse than what Hillary has done, and Hillary should have been put in jail. So, effectively that's stating that both Hillary and Donald Jr. should be wearing orange jumpsuits.

It's always going to be easier to spin conspiracy theories around Clinton because she was secretary of state and had dealings that can be cast in a conspiratorial light, fairly or not. The fact that this bogus story is all that you guys can come up with says a lot.
