Don't you know that Judas was cold meat by the time Jesus gave this commission? a lot had happened since Judas' demise. There had been a death a burial and a resurrection.
Now said Jesus "All power in heaven and on earth is given unto Me...go ye therefore and preach the good news to every creature....these signs shall follow those who believe....
He gives power to the faint and to him who has no might He increases strength.

The poverty gospel is a lie. God made this world, there are PLENTY of resources for everybody's needs. Go has PROMISED to us all the things that the gentiles seek.
