THE DEATH SONGS OF DAVID BOWIE.

Yep, with religious imagery.

That's exactly what he said, as he raises his arms in a "behold me" gesture.

Then why even use so much religious imagery??????

"I AM' is satire on religion.
The single candle and the eyes is satire on religion.
Having 3 people on crosses with the one in the middle being higher than the others is satire on religion.
Forming a circle to bow before a jeweled skull relic is satire on religion.
Holding up a book as though it were a sacred holy book is satire on religion.
Body shaking trances is satire on religion.

The whole video is cluttered with religious satire.
I believe he knew very well they were religious imagery and purposely used them for his dark vision of "art".

Good post Tam. You're right on.

Since creating this thread, I've noticed that, the only ones
to defend and give high praise to the last works of David
Bowie, have been Brits, agnostics, atheists, and liberal
so called Christian types. However, that does stand to
reason. Why? Because, these groups share things in
common. The Brits have obvious reasons for piling
the praise on because, Bowie was a Brit himself.

The others don't have a Christian moral compass
to go by. They're not sensitive to blasphemy of God,
and Christianity as a faith. Therefore, they don't see
anything wrong with the death songs of the late
David Bowie.

Bowie, as I've mentioned before, was into Satanism and
the well known Alistair Crowley. (A Satanist himself)
Crowley was known as a wicked/evil man. Why Bowie
felt a kinship with Crowley and Satanism shows what
kind of guy Bowie was in his personal life. He was a
lost and Godless man.

You don't know the rest of the story. And, it would be a waste
of my time to speak of it, with you.

You said enough as it was. It was fear that drew you, enough said. I wonder how many kids have been traumatized by some sick belief in a burning hell?

AB, like Bowie is a lost soul. There's hope for him though? If
he responds in faith to the Gospel before he dies, he would
be able to enter eternal life.

Oh, so you're gonna refer to me in the third person now and presume to know the 'state of my soul' on an internet forum?

Classy.

Yeah man, he just courted the limelight constantly and it'll probably only be a matter of time before his satanic diaries get aired in the daily tabloids where he drank pigs blood and urinated on hallowed ground etc...

Still, as it's only 'Conservative Christians' who have some sort of moral compass I'll leave you to bask in your own smug superiority and blather on about how evil everyone outside of that is and so on...

The last thing that Bowie did before leaving this
world is, to leave a Satanic/occultist body of work.

In it he, blasphemed God and Christianity, he made
claim to being god, and he committed sacrilege
pertaining to the Crucifixion of Christ, by portraying
it in a pornographic manner. For a man who was on
the brink of death itself, one would think he'd think
twice about blaspheming his creator? However, he
had an excuse. He was not a Christian nor a child
of God, he didn't have the sealing and indwelling
of the Holy Spirit, and he wasn't in the Body of
Christ.

Therefore, according to the Bible, he's in a place of
torment at this time and awaiting the judgement of
God. Subsequently, he'll be cast into the Lake of Fire
where he'll spend eternity. By the way, that's the same
fate for Satan and his fallen angels.

Well, are you a member of the Body of Christ? If your answer is "no"
then, what I've surmised is true.

I was seeking at that time. God answered that question a matter
of months later. No, not audibly, in case that was your next question?

Eh, I've no truck with organized religion of any sort now but if 'repenting of sin and praying for forgiveness' counts then I did that over twenty years ago while 'seeking' things out myself and attending a Pentecostal church. If OSAS counts then hey, I guess I am then eh? If not then hey, yet another doctrinal issue that folk like you can argue and condemn others over etc...
