Agreed.

So when you claim the Spirit has led you to a particular belief, and another believer claims the Spirit has led him to a contrary belief...

You would say, then, that he (the other believer) was wrong?
That it was not the Spirit (but rather human error) that led to that belief?

Is this right?
That is correct.

I believe that the RCC is a false authority that is not guided by the Holy Spirit, but has another leader.

All of the supposed "proofs" that the RCC is THE authority left by God are bogus in every way and the ad nauseam repeating of these "proofs" does not mean that they are true.

I miss John Corapi and Francis Mary Stone.
And Benedict Groeschel.

I like John Trugilio, but I can't stand Ray Guarendi, he's obnoxious.

Your interpretation is wrong and in so many ways.

Catholics should be more like Peter.

Peter opposed the huge religious machine of his day, stepped out, and clung to a few simple truths.
Catholicism is a huge religious machine like the ones that the scribes and Pharisees had created.

I would mostly agree, except for one thing. The scribes and the Pharisees had a tiny bit of actual legitimacy. The RCC has NONE whatsoever.
