Yeah, and it was a horrible argument which didn't even really address the morality of teenagers marrying. You tried to justify your notion with virtually irrelevant observations.

The average lifespan having been 47 doesn't mean what you think it means. People lived nearly just as long as now, the difference is that before modern medicine and healthcare, there was a far higher rate of people dying either at birth or in post-infancy. If one could get through that, they tended to live a full, natural life.

I think we can all agree there is way too much teenage fornicating going on. Being raised by a young single mother just makes matters worse. We have to get A father if not THE father in the home on a daily basis. Safeguards should be put in to guard against abuse. Our culture has gone to hell in a hand basket and teenage fornication is one of the biggest causes. With as many smart people this country has, someone ought to be able to come up with workable solutions.
