Proof that Paul didn't preach a different gospel than Peter

Temple In... The Temple...

Please answer tetelestai.

Do you believe the saved are the temple of the Holy Spirit?

Depends on which of two temples one is referring to.

Acts 2:

46. And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,

Acts 3:

1. Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour.
2. And a certain man lame from his mother's womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple;

8. And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God.

Acts 4:

1. And as they spake unto the people, the priests, and the captain of the temple, and the Sadducees, came upon them,
2. Being grieved that they taught the people, and preached through Jesus the resurrection from the dead.

Acts 5:

17. Then the high priest rose up, and all they that were with him, (which is the sect of the Sadducees,) and were filled with indignation,
18. And laid their hands on the apostles, and put them in the common prison.
19. But the angel of the Lord by night opened the prison doors, and brought them forth, and said,
20. Go, stand and speak in the temple to the people all the words of this life.
21. And when they heard that, they entered into the temple early in the morning, and taught. But the high priest came, and they that were with him, and called the council together, and all the senate of the children of Israel, and sent to the prison to have them brought.

2 Thessalonians 2:

1. Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,
2. That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.
3. Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
4. Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
5. Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?

At that time, there were two temples - though continually pointed out to him - this fool, Tel, asserts there is one because that fits the entrapment he is knowingly up to.

At that time, there were two temples -

First off, that has nothing to do with Paul telling us that the bodies of individual believers are the temple of the Holy Spirit.

Secondly, there was only one temple in Jerusalem in the first century.

Thirdly, if you understood that David's tent, and Moses' tabernacle stood at the same time, you wouldn't be so confused about the first century.

And last but not least, you better go back to your Darby books, because Darby followers claim the temple in 2 Thess 2 is a future third temple that hasn't been built yet.

The earthly temple was a meeting place, however, the saved are the temple.

He once again spam his "Darby" stumper, as that is all the punk has, when he is getting picked apart/run over.

Aren't you MADists embarrassed how not one of you has an explanation for 2 Peter 3?

It's been over a week, and not one MADist has an explanation.

They need to explain.

I want them to face the question and explain it.

This is about their beliefs.

They are asked to explain their beliefs and they should do it.

the saved are the temple.

MADists hate the building/temple metaphor. They only like the body metaphor.

(Eph 2:19-22) Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with God’s people and also members of his household, 20 built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone. 21 In him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord. 22 And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit.

The reason the MADists hate the above building metaphor is because they have the apostles and prophets (kingdom believers) in a different building, and the building metaphor in Eph 2 doesn't fit their "two gospel" theory.

The point was, they were temples of the Lord walking into and in the Temple, just as the Son had been before them.

You are not that blind; just that manipulating.

For, as usual, you had no interest in an answer - you were just baiting.

When you could just post what you assert - not bait people so you can then rant your same tired, dishonest rant in your dishonesty once more.

That is exactly the nonsense the Pharisees would pull on the Lord.

For, speak of your pet word - "generation..."

Luke 7:

31. And the Lord said, Whereunto then shall I liken the men of this generation? and to what are they like?
32. They are like unto children sitting in the marketplace, and calling one to another, and saying, We have piped unto you, and ye have not danced; we have mourned to you, and ye have not
wept.
33. For John the Baptist came neither eating bread nor drinking wine; and ye say, He hath a devil.
34. The Son of man is come eating and drinking; and ye say, Behold a gluttonous man, and a winebibber, a friend of publicans and sinners!
35. But wisdom is justified of all her children.

That's you to a "T" you baiting, knowingly dishonest slanderer.

Two more verses that destroy MAD's "two gospel" theory:

(1 Peter 2:5) you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

(Eph 2:21) In him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord.

According to MAD, there are two different gospels in the above verses.

MAD claims 1 Peter is written to "kingdom believers" and Eph 2 is written to "body believers".

It is so simple to see that both Peter and Paul are speaking of the same exact thing.

Yet, the MADists will deny it.

It's been over 3 years, since you've punted the 50 questions I asked you.

Aren't you embarrassed, Craigie?

Aren't you embarrassed that you've not explained one of the 666 lies that you've spread on TOL, such as this lie, which we caught you on?:

“And that is what happened. The Lord came in a way that everyone could see Him. However, He never touched planet earth, and when this event was over, He then sat on the throne in Heaven NOT on planet earth.”-Tet.

"Everyone" that saw Him, according to Craigie, was Josephus, and Wikipedia. Wait....

Vs.

"Tet is a preterist that believes Christ already returned in 70 AD via the Roman Army."-Tambora, on another TOL thread

"Correct, and thanks for making it clear that it was the Roman army that was His return."-Gomer Craigie

"The Roman army destroyed Jerusalem in 70AD. That is what Jesus meant when He said He will return."-Gomer Tet.

Not one explanation, from you, and on your habitual lying.

And not one explanation, as to why you've not identified those infallible teachers, which you claim, you have.

Why is that, Craigie?

Correct.

(Matt 26:64 KJV) Jesus saith unto him, Thou hast said: nevertheless I say unto you, Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.

Now if only you would apply your own rules to Matt 26:64 KJV, you would see that Jesus was telling the people He was talking to that they would see Him coming in the clouds of heaven.
"You" and "Ye" are both PLURAL.

It's entirely possible that Jesus is using this GROUP identification as a GENERALIZATION.

I think that you're so hung-up on your doctrine that you force-fit scripture into it.

I'd like to point out the fact that when Jesus left the earth, the angels said that He would return "in like manner". That means in His physical body.

Zechariah 14:4 confirms this exactly, as His FEET shall stand on the Mount of Olives from where He left.

Are you related to Johnny W?

Or, are you just another Dispensationalist who calls people names when they can't defend the false teachings of John Nelson Darby?

That is correct and it's not hard to understand unless your false doctrine blinds you.

(Luke 7:31 KJV) And the Lord said, Whereunto then shall I liken the men of this generation? and to what are they like?

Are you seriously going to claim that the phrase "this generation" in the above verse was Jesus referring to a future generation?
