1. If the President had misgivings about the Ukraine was a "hotbed" of corruption, why would he have any confidence that it could conduct a reputable investigation of the Bidens? So you think that the President should just dole out aid to corrupt countries, knowing that tax payer money will end up in the pockets of the corrupt politicians and their cronies...i.e. Joe and Hunter Biden?
Do you really think that Joe Biden should have gotten a pass just because he might be Trump's opponent in 2020?
:rotfl:
2. If Trump had credible grounds to have the Bidens investigated for corruption, why didn't he request that it be conducted by the FBI?
3. Ironically, the only "corruption" that has been uncovered thus far are the foreign contributions to Republican politicians by Rudy Giuliani's Ukrainian associates Lev and Igor, who received $1 million form an unidentified Russian source and were apprehended by the FBI at Dulles Airport when they tried to leave the country!
4. Lev and Igor also retained the services of the President's lawyer for $500000 - the source of that money and the actual services provided by Giuliani have yet to be determined!
5. Foreign nationals are prohibited from making contributions and other expenditures in connection with U.S. elections, or by contributing funds substituting the names of American donors to obscure their true source!
6. Recent congressional testimony indicates that Giuliani, assisted by Lev and Igor, were tasked by the President as "back-channels" for formulating Ukrainian foreign policy that would facilitate finding "dirt" on the Bidens - it was on their advice that the America's Ambassador to the Ukraine was recalled and dismissed!
