I should have said "to @Catholic Crusader's post". The op was much more general.
I did a search for how many books are in the apocrypha, and of the first 10 hits I saw 5 different answers.

There's no apocrypha in the Catholic Bible, but the books you're alluding to number seven. There are 73 books in the Catholic Bible, 66 in the Protestant Bible, and Orthodoxy has a range.

"Apocrypha" means "hidden", so I guess they're hidden amongst the rest of the books.

Those who don't believe the bible is actually from God cannot adhere to its Godly teachings.
A scripture is inspired by God.
