The Steelers sucked so bad that they got Terry Bradshaw, the foundation of their first four Super Bowl wins, with the first pick of the draft.
Since the merger, the Cowboys have had 11 Top 10 picks in the draft, while the Steelers have had only 5.
The reason being, is because the Cowboys have had so many horrible seasons, whereas the Steelers haven't.
Even with 6 Top 10 draft picks since their last Super Bowl appearance, the Cowboys have only managed to win only two playoff games in 20 years.
Meanwhile, the Steelers have had only one Top 10 pick in the draft during the same 20 years (#8 in 2000), but have won 15 playoff games, had 3 Super Bowl appearances, and won 2 Super Bowls.
IOW, the Cowboys have had so many Top 10 draft picks the last 20 years, but have still managed to win only 2 playoff games. The Cowboys are almost as inept as the Cleveland Browns.
