Those first 17 years must have been tough for you.

However, things changed. Since 1975 the Broncos have had only 5 losing seasons.

That's even better than the Steelers. The Steelers have had 7 losing seasons during the same time period.
They were tough years, but it was "They'll get the next game."

The Bronco's first playoff game in franchise history was when they beat the Steelers in 1977.

Since then, the Broncos have played the Steelers 6 more times in the postseason.

The Broncos and Steelers have represented the AFC in 15 of the 48 Super Bowls. That's almost 1/3 of the Super Bowls.

That's a quite a record.

Well...I suppose that's easier than waiting for Notre Dame's next national championship, but you never know. :plain: Puncher's chance. To borrow your fan base mantra, "You never know, we just might win."

do you think alabama will ever catch up?

number of wins
winning percentage
heisman trophies
national championships

Depends on how you weight what passed for a national championship, I suppose...Because Princeton can claim 28 of them. So...

Alabama, in the modern and more defensible national designations, claims 15 and Notre Dame claims 11.

Now when it comes to Heisman's we're a near no show. So either we've won that remarkable number of victories without that singular level of talent, which would be a feather in our cap, or against an outside bias, which considering the nature of many national championship titles would be a real feather in our cap.

So, either way we've got a nice looking cap. :)

Number of wins years we've played isn't really a record. More an attendance certificate. :plain:

WOW!!!!!

How the heck did Seattle just win that game?

If you're a Green Bay fan, this has to really hurt.

That game was over. The Packers were high-fiving each other on the sideline.

Big difference.

Russell Wilson has his team in the Super Bowl.
No, his team is in the Super Bowl despite him, really. So many ifs in this game if you're a Packer fan.

If your coach goes for seven twice when nearly in the end zone, if your special teams don't fall for a fake fg, if your special teams collects the onside or knocks the two point conversion attempt down the game is over.

Peyton Manning added another season to his "one-and-done" record.
Thanks for underscoring the hypocrisy of your bias by moving goal posts to a collective. :chuckle:

Rather, Peyton adds a rare "his fault" game for playing with an injury that should have had him on the side line once he took an early hit and realized he couldn't use his legs. They have a back up. If you can't get it done you have to hand it to the fellow who has all his working parts...even if you don't think he can get it done.
