The Warriors win again, beating he Indiana Pacers 131-123. The Warriors are now 23-0. This is their 27th consecutive regular season win, tying the 2012-13 Miami Heat for the 2nd longest winning streak in NBA history.

Well.....IMO, they passed their biggest test of this East Coast road trip.

Next up for the Warriors is Boston. Another tough East Coast road game, but at least the Warriors will have two days to rest before the game.

Shooting contest, Curry beats MJ 99 times out 100.

You do know MJ is from North Carolina? :chuckle:

During the 95-96 season MJ was 111 of 260 from 3-point land; which was a .427 percentage.

Last year Curry was 286 of 646 for a .443 percentage. This year Curry is at .472.

Jordan had a post-season .403 percentage for 3-pointers in 95-96. Curry had .422 last year in the post-season.

Curry has better numbers from beyond the arc, Jordan wasn't that far behind, and more than made up for it with his ability to drive to the hoop.

So, I agree with you that Jordan beats Curry 99 out of 100 games of one-on-one, but I'm not so sure Curry beats MJ 99 out of 100 times in a shooting contest. Maybe 75 out of 100

Mentally, Jordan was a man amongst boys, and as Yogi Berra once said, the game is 90% mental.

However, Curry is only 27 years old. Ten years from now, we may be saying "Michael Who?"

Jordan's career starts in 1984, not 1995.

About the Warriors, I have to say, I am officially impressed.

Tet, you are forgetting one crucial fact. In 1995 the three point line was only 22'3". Today it's back to the original 23'9". How many of Jordan's three pointers would not be three pointers today?

Ahhh....Bernard King! Man could he score. He was so quick and explosive before the terrible knee injury in 1985. He was a Warrior when I started following the team around 1981. :D

Curry has been pretty stout mentally himself. He's never afraid to take the shot. He strikes me as much stronger than LeBron from a mental standpoint, and I like a lot about the way LeBron plays.

However, Curry is only 27 years old. Ten years from now, we may be saying "Michael Who?"

I don't know about that. His size may eventually come back to stop him from having sustained, long-term success. But, I'm enjoying his ability right now.

Did he ever smile?
I liked how he just went out and did damage...no talking or showboating.

It was obvious in the big dance that Curry was special. He is a throw back to the 80's when players actually still had skill and not just athleticism.
