They both violated the first commandment. Satan because of jealousy and Adam because of indifference.

How come Adam could be redeemed and Lucifer couldn't, i.e., what was provided for in Adam and his posterity, biologically speaking, Lucifer did not possess? These are NOT trick questions. Do angels die? Note that the death sentence for disobedience was given to Adam...not to Satan. It's only speculation, but perhaps Satan had already partaken of the tree of life...

Let me get this straight. You are questioning if Satan can be saved or that he has eaten from the tree of life?
