Jesus Took Responsibility For The Whole NT

Jesus is the New Testament.
After The Ascended Lord Jesus Christ met Saul (later Paul) on the road to Damascus, Christ subsequently, chose Paul to preach The Grace Gospel to the Jew first and then, Paul went on to be The Apostle to the Gentiles. Peter and the other Apostles continued to preach The Kingdom Gospel to the Jews.
Christ's earthly ministry was to The Lost Sheep of the House of Israel. Matthew 15:24 "But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel." In fact, Christ told His Disciples the following: Matthew 10:5 "These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not:"
So Paul made these texts relevant for the new additions to the house of Israel...grafted in for their belief to replace those that were cut off for their unbelief..
John 14:15
15 "If you love Me, keep My commandments.

21 "He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him."

10 "If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father's commandments and abide in His love.

The law given to the church in the wilderness is immutable and remains binding...Paul affirmed and exemplified that...
John was speaking to The House of Israel. He was preaching The Kingdom Gospel, Just as Christ and the rest of the Apostles.
Israel was to be the conduit, bridge, way, to the Father...His house of prayer to be one for all nations...
When they killed the Son they released themselves from that blood relations covenant...now through the Son hey killed, any can be His people, heirs to the kingdom...if they are not like fallen rebellious disobedient Israel...but like what Israel was supposed to have been...full of faith and obedient...
The Apostle Paul was sent to the Gentiles with a NEW Gospel. It was separate from The Kingdom Gospel being preached to the Jews.
Oh boy...another gospel now to try and avoid His Way...
The reason for The Ascended Christ to meet Saul (later Paul) wasn't to give Paul The Kingdom Gospel, it was to instruct Paul about The Grace Gospel, that was to be preached to the Gentiles.
Those who don't know how to "Rightly Divide" the word of God don't understand the difference.

lolol Rightly divide doesn't mean to throw some of the books away like you do. You reject the book of Luke, and the book of James, and a couple more. Your nap wasn't long enough. You should go back and take another one.

As usual you have it backwards. You are welcome to become a Christian. But don't try to deceive Christians into becoming a Jew. Jesus "was" a Jew and then He changed all the laws of the Jews.

Peter started with the church and the Jews. Paul started with the Gentiles. But everyone is suppose to come to the knowledge of the whole new testament.
