The right to a trial. Where do we learn about that?Unlike Guyver here, I can answer your question without any hesitation.
After a speedy trial (which is the right of the victims, not the accused), where a conviction is made on two or three witnesses, a convicted murderer should be put to death swiftly and painfully.
Yup.
You going to answer the rest of my post?
The Law.The right to a trial. Where do we learn about that?
Is the Law of Moses good?
The Law.
The Law.
As opposed to The Prophets and The Writings.
Exodus 18Any particular scripture or commandment?
Exodus 18
Deuteronomy 17:9-13
That's just off the top of my head.
Do you have anything to say here?
Why do you think that the Bible specifies such a thing? And to a speedy trial?
Because the sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil. - Ecclesiastes 8:11 http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Ecclesiastes8:11&version=NKJVAnd to a speedy trial?
Because of this. Why do you think that the Bible specifies such a thing?

I was asking whether it did. I was asking why Jacob is asking such questions.Because of this.
Ah, okI was asking whether it did. I was asking why Jacob is asking such questions.
I do not.Why do you think that the Bible specifies such a thing?

Jacob, the US legal system is anything BUT speedy.I do not.
I've looked ahead here so I see and know that I am wrong in this.
I would have said something like the Law guarantees a trial (learned here) but it is either the Constitution or the Bill of Rights that guarantees or assures a speedy trial.
What say you?
I didn't catch that part of your question.I was asking whether it did. I was asking why Jacob is asking such questions.
Ah, ok
