He isn't acting.
Regardless of what you think about Joel Osteen and mega churches, evangelicals etc., it seems that the media and social media unfairly hyped and promoted the idea that Joel turned people away and closed his church to victims. When I first heard, I thought, what a jerk. Looks like just another attack on Christianity in general.
Man, this is just sick.
Devastation all around.
Folks all over are pitching in to help all in need.
But the media is still letting the "race war" take priority.
They scanned any footage they had of anyone helping others during the flooding.
If any were spotted that had a confederate flag symbol was, they would not be used in their coverage of the event.
This is TEXAS folks.
Lots of folks have a Confederate flag.
Folks with boats that were rescuing folks were denied TV coverage of their selfless actions if the boat had a sticker or small flag of the Confederacy.
Same with all the folks with trucks that were helping to rescue folks.
Same with anyone wearing a t-shirt with the emblem.
Folks of all walks are pulling together as human beings to help each other, and the media is still using the "race war" as priority.

Now the heat returns to lower Texas. After the storm clears out, temps will heat up and the sun will be out. It has been in the 70s around Houston this week so far. No A/C
The press at the White House briefing repeatedly asked about the aid available for undocumented immigrants who have homes that were flooded. They say Houston has the biggest population of UNDOCUMENTED ILLEGAL immigrants. They kept asking about it, showing more concern for non-citizens. The left really have their priorities messed up.

I heard there is E. coli and flesh eating bacteria in the water in Houston. Not to mention the snakes.
