HOW SERIOUS ARE DOCTRINAL ERRORS?

Eph 2:8 Is what you don't accept, and it has nothing to do with the Jewish rites or sacrifices. It's addressed to those who are aliens from the commonwealth of Israel.

So, every single time you bring up circumcision, etc. when we're talking about being saved by grace through faith....not of ourselves, you show your ignorance of the gospel you claim to believe in.

The Gentiles were far away from God BECAUSE they did not get circumcised and do the purification works.

How do you ever get that it doesn't matter to be told how and why the Gentiles are now able to be saved?

Admit it......you have no idea what Eph. 2:8 is talking about. There is no circumcision or washings or anything of a Jewish nature involved in that text. Salvation is not of ourselves...it is a gift from God. Your obedience is not only unnecessary, but it isn't good enough to count towards anything.

It is about circumcision and the ceremonial works:

Ephesians 2:11 [ Jew and Gentile Reconciled Through Christ ] Therefore, remember that formerly you who are Gentiles by birth and called “uncircumcised” by those who call themselves “the circumcision” (which is done in the body by human hands--

Paul is explaining how it is no longer by the works of our hands, as the way it used to be.

No, Gentiles had nothing to do with the circumcision. Even Abraham was accounted righteous through faith BEFORE he was ever circumcised. Paul is making it clear that salvation has nothing to do with works of any kind.

Romans 4:9-10 Cometh this blessedness then upon the circumcision only, or upon the uncircumcision also? for we say that faith was reckoned to Abraham for righteousness. How was it then reckoned? when he was in circumcision, or in uncircumcision? Not in circumcision, but in uncircumcision.

Circumcision was only a sign of a Covenant....a seal and never made anyone righteous, and was not a work of righteousness. So your insistence that Eph. 2:8 is speaking of that is ridiculous.

Romans 4:11 And he received the sign of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness of the faith which he had yet being uncircumcised: that he might be the father of all them that believe, though they be not circumcised; that righteousness might be imputed unto them also:

That is why they were without God in the world. See Ephesians 2:12.

You just proved it is about the WORK OF CIRCUMCISION.

You found another scripture about the ceremonial works and circumcision.

Circumcision was a righteous act. It made people clean, or not.

Romans 4:11 And he received the sign of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness of the faith which he had yet being uncircumcised: that he might be the father of all them that believe, though they be not circumcised; that righteousness might be imputed unto them also:

God promised a future covenant where one would not have to do any works such as circumcision to be made clean. Jesus cleans us now. It doesn't mean you don't have to obey, it means you do not have to get circumcised and sacrifice animals.

Still stuck on stupid, I see.

The 2 gospel theory has never developed past mere theory.

It just continuously smolders . . . like the local garbage dump that remains in the neighborhood, due to unending trash contributions.

I especially appreciate and rest in Luke 24:25-27 . . which shuts the mouths of MADists who insist on holding to gnostic "mysteries."
