Hello Again

Hello again everyone!

My (real) name is John Calvin Hall, but I use the moniker Gabriel Theodoulos only because too many presume that I'm a Calvinist.
I am not, being named after my two grandfathers. :)
I am a retired Bible educator with my last two college degrees in Bible, NT Greek, and Biblical Exposition.
Years ago ... decades (?!) ago ... found myself enjoying the lively conversations I had on TOL, and being challenged by some current issues, I thought to return and possibly toss them out here.

I came to TOL to think through ideas, and stayed because the format allows for more spirited discussion. Welcome back.

Welcome Gabriel Theodoulos. T. I came many years ago seeking conversation and of course to share my theories and revelations which I truly believe came from the Holy Spirit. I left only because life called. Mother, wife, grandmother, caretaker of in-laws and etc. Started substitute teaching Bible Study at my church but rarely talked on exciting new nuances in scripture... or anything challenging Baptist doctrine and tradition. Loved to hear other opinions though not always agreeing. I would check in often for TOL was really where I wanted to go. I'm trying to get back to TOL at this time. I welcome your new ideas.

Some say the same about me. I'm just a scripturalist.
