I'm sorry I don't agree with you, I'll go over your posts later when I get time.
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable...(2 Timothy 3:16-17 KJV). It means what it says, as it says it and to whom it says it. It's all written FOR our learning (Romans 15:4 KJV), but it's not ALL written TO us or about us. Paul is the chosen vessel of the Lord where we are concerned given the dispensation of the grace of God to us-ward (Ephesians 3:1-6 KJV). We follow him in doctrine (1 Corinthians 4:15-16 KJV, 2 Timothy 2:2 KJV, 2 Timothy 2:7-8 KJV). Until you do, you will be tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine (Ephesians 4:14 KJV). You might as well build on a wise master builder's foundation (assuming you're saved 1 Corinthians 3:10-15 KJV).
by the way, there is a baptism of spirit
Mark 1
I indeed have baptized you with water: but he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost.
It does not say of, but with and the Lord Jesus Christ, the baptizer (Mark 1:8 KJV, Matthew 3:11 KJV).
Without the baptism of the spirit within are dead to God. Because without it, we can't have the holy spirit dwelling within, without the spirit we are dead on our sins. It is the spirit that brings life, and it's the spirit that puts us to death.
There is but one baptism for the believer today and it's not by water or by the Lord Jesus Christ. It's by one Spirit into one Body!
1 Corinthians 12:13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.
When one trusts the Lord after hearing and believing the word of truth (1 Corinthians 15:1-4) they are baptized by one Spirit in to one Body (1 Corinthians 12:13).
It is a baptism (identification) into Christ's death,
Romans 6:3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? 4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. 5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:
It's a Spirit baptism into Christ,
Galatians 3:27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
It is the one baptism of Ephesians 4 that we are to endevour to keep.
Ephesians 4:1 I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called, 2 With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; 3 Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. 4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; 5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
