The World of 2 Cor 5:19 ! cont 4
The World of 2 Cor 5:19 ! cont 4
2 Cor 5:19
19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
Those of this world, the World of God's Elect, His Sheep, all of them shall be born again, given New Life, become experimentally new creatures in Christ. Now exactly why is that True ? Simple, all of these people which comprise this world, from the beginning of the World from Creation in Adam [all men not created in Adam] unto the Second Coming of Christ, the final generation of mankind, not one of them has their trespasses charged to them, beginning with their first trespass in Adam Rom 5:15
15 But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.
The word here offence and the word trespasses in 2 Cor 5:19 are the same greek word paraptōma:
to fall beside or near something
a lapse or deviation from truth and uprightness
a sin, misdeed
And so the first offence of Adam was the inlet to all of the rest of their trespasses and sins Vs 16
16 And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification.
And none of those many offences are any longer charged against them, so they stand in the view of God as never having trespassed in Adam or in themselves, and because of that they are Upright before the Lord, remember How God made man Ecc 7:29
Lo, this only have I found, that God hath made man upright; but they have sought out many inventions.
That word upright yashar means:
straight, upright, correct, right
straight, level
right, pleasing, correct
straightforward, just, upright, fitting, proper
uprightness, righteous, upright
that which is upright (subst)
It meant Righteous !
Ps 107:42
42 The righteous shall see it, and rejoice: and all iniquity shall stop her mouth.
Prov 2:7
7 He layeth up sound wisdom for the righteous: he is a buckler to them that walk uprightly.
Prov 3:32
32 For the froward is abomination to the Lord: but his secret is with the righteous.
Because of Christ's Work, and the non imputation of trespasses, that restored man [adam] to uprightness Ps 69:4
They that hate me without a cause are more than the hairs of mine head: they that would destroy me, being mine enemies wrongfully, are mighty: then I restored that which I took not away.
However, the Righteousness, Uprightness they now have is far superior to that Lost in Adam by the trespass.
Because of their Rightness in Christ, God's Law and Justice being fully satisfied for their original trespasses by Christ, because of that, God's Justice demands unto them Life, for life can only be Justly forfeited because of sin, which brings death Rom 5:12
12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
See the death by sin here by Adams' sin has been abolished by the sacrifice of Christ, Jn 1:29
29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.
That's what it means, the death by sin of the world in Adam in Rom 5:12 has been taken away by the Lamb of God.
Thats the same world of 2 Cor 5:19 who does not have its trespasses charged to them.
The Law has not been broken for those again, and where there is no Law [broken] there is no transgression charged Rom 5:13
13 (For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law[transgressed].
Adam was not charged with sin until he transgressed God's Law for him in the garden, however, that transgression no longer exists because of Christ's Law and Justice ! So sin is not imputed to men that were in Adam.
God sees all to whom He does not impute sin, as not breaking His Law, which means they are Righteous / Upright before Him.
