If someone is a wrongdoer, can they still be saved?
1 Corinthians 6:9
Or do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men
1 Corinthians 6:9-11 KJV is a syllogism. Verse 9 says it is the unrighteous (key to understanding what Paul is saying here) that shall not inherit the kingdom of God and lists the things which the unrighteous were identified as, but
the conclusion (the good news to those in the BoC)
is VERSE 11! You leave verse 11 out because you want salvation to be about what we do or don't do, but it's NOT!
1 Corinthians 6:9 Know ye not that the
unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,
1 Corinthians 6:10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.
1 Corinthians 6:11
And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.
Those in the Body of Christ are not "unrighteous", but have the righteousness of God upon us!
Romans 3:21
But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;
Romans 3:22
Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:
