Fake New Tally Thread

Let me simplify the issue so that even "Angel4Truth" can understand - is The Washington Post a source of real or fake news?

Both. At one time in my life, tabloids were tabloids, and news wasn't. Those lines blurred, probably irreparably because there is no longer integrity of checking and rechecking sources any more, just being the first to get out with a story. The integrity of the press is no longer viable: They all have a political agenda first, before reporting 'what is happening in the world' and more often than not, they about tell you how you should think and emote. It didn't used to be this way.

So true, it's click-bait now, that's the most important thing for the MSM

Trump supporters are smart enough to think for themselves and check all their sources. That irks you libs, doesn't it?

Let me simplify this post.....here is a libtard who is unable to think for himself, so he assumes others are as incapable as he is.

Here's a hint. When you see "unnamed sources", you can toss it out with the rest of the liberal trash.

unnamed sources reveal that jgarden is really hillary clinton!

Some fellows get credit for being conservative when they are only stupid.

CNN staged a fake protest in London.

In a video uploaded by user MarkAntro on Monday, CNN anchor Becky Anderson can be seen standing to one side while police and TV producers assist a group of Muslim women assemble a makeshift memorial featuring flowers and protest signs.

“Look at all the people around me here, behind me here, sad about last night but hopeful for tomorrow,” Anderson says in the news clip....

“CNN caught staging news!” Cernovich tweeted. “They even brought ‘peace group’ printed out papers and props.” Watson tweeted: “FAKE media. BBC refuses to air tape of terrorists saying ‘this [is] for Allah’. CNN stages Muslim anti-ISIS protest. We are being conned.”

Hopkins, who last month was dumped by radio station LBC over a tweet following the Manchester bombing, wrote: “WATCH. @CNN scripting a narrative. Right before your eyes.”

Your report of alleged fake news is... fake news.

First of all.. Cernovich? The Comet Pizza conspiracy theorist and Alex Jones host?

Anyway:

A source at CNN said that the reporters and equipment seen in the third-party video represented several news organizations, not just CNN, situated in front of a police cordon near London Bridge. The small group of Muslims at the demonstration (actually a vigil, according to the participants, who were there of their own volition) asked police for permission to cross the police barrier to be photographed. The police assented and escorted them into position. The shot was “arranged” only to the extent necessary to fit the group into the camera frame.

We were in the middle of a live show when they appeared, and they moved in front of us so we could see their signs — for people to suggest that the protest was staged by the media is ludicrous.

That the demonstration was real, not staged, is clear from additional press coverage of the event. According to the BBC, the gathering was organized by the London Fatwa Council, who confirmed that their chairman, Shaykh Mohammad Yazdani, was present at the vigil to pay respects to the victims.
He also issued the public statement excerpted below:
I was shocked to my core when I learnt of the devastating attacks in London, as I left the mosque last night. Whilst myself and the majority of the Muslim community were busy in night time prayers, a horrible act of terror was being played out outside. I am deeply, deeply aggrieved that such heinous violence and terror again be upon our streets.
In the sacred month of Ramadhan when Muslims are engrossed in the remembrance of God and in togetherness with their families and communities, I cannot accept that the perpetrators of this terror are observers of my faith. Acts of terror are always deplorable but more so during the sacred month of Ramadhan.
Coverage by the Telegraph and the Standard included photos and video of participants placing flowers at the site:
In short, the vigil was not a media invention. It was organized by the London Fatwa Council, a legitimate Islamic organization whose members have taken a vocal stand against terrorist attacks. Vigil participants were photographed, at their request, by international press organizations, including CNN. The charge that CNN or anyone else “staged” the event to “hype a narrative of widespread Muslim opposition” to the attacks is a politically motivated mischaracterization of what occurred.

BREAKING: Trump’s Saudi Arms Deal Is Actually Fake

Remember President Trump’s big, triumphant arms deal in Saudi Arabia? It turns out it didn’t really happen. It was Trump’s own fake news, a feat of supply chain vertical integration and more importantly for the MAGA agenda repatriating jobs from Russia. In all seriousness, at the end of the day it didn’t happen. There are no contracts or sales. At all.

So how could this be? The story comes from Bruce Riedel, a longtime CIA and national security official, now at Brookings. The Potemkin deal turns out to be remarkably similar to the Trump jobs announcements we’ve grown accustomed to. Trump takes a bunch of jobs or investments which either already exist or have already been announced and rebrands them as new economic growth driven by Trump Power. In this he usually has a compliant and complicit CEO, happy to go along with the charade to curry favor with the US President.

Here’s what Riedel discovered …

I’ve spoken to contacts in the defense business and on the Hill, and all of them say the same thing: There is no $110 billion deal. Instead, there are a bunch of letters of interest or intent, but not contracts. Many are offers that the defense industry thinks the Saudis will be interested in someday. So far nothing has been notified to the Senate for review. The Defense Security Cooperation Agency, the arms sales wing of the Pentagon, calls them “intended sales.” None of the deals identified so far are new, all began in the Obama administration.

As I said, this turns out to be remarkably similar. The $110 price tag advertised by the Trump White House includes no actual contracts, no actual sales. Instead it is made up of a bundle of letters of intent, statements of interest and agreements to think about it. In other words, rather than a contract, it’s more like a wishlist: an itemized list of things the Saudis might be interested in if the price of oil ever recovers, if they start more wars and things the US would like to sell the Saudis.

Big updates coming thanks to Comey. Of course it is a re-enactment. I will only post so many grotesque pictures of islam. Why do you say nothing about what they do? Because you support it.

Chris Matthews begrudgingly admits the collusion story is all conjecture and is blown up by the Comey testimony.

"The assumption of the critics of the president, of his pursuers, you might say, is that somewhere along the line in the last year is the president had something to do with colluding with the Russians … to affect the election in some way," Matthews said on MSNBC, following the testimony.

"And yet what came apart this morning was that theory," Matthews said, listing two reasons why. First, he said Comey revealed that "Flynn wasn't central to the Russian investigation," and secondly, he said that kills the idea that Flynn might have been in a position to testify against Trump.

"And if that's not the case, where's the there-there?" Matthews said
