That is a command to Israel as a requirement to be forgiven (Matthew 6:14-15 KJV). We forgive one another as we are already forgiven! (Ephesians 4:32 KJV, Colossians 2:13 KJV)

Jesus died on the cross so that when you repent your sins you can have them washed away and you become the temple.

The Lord Jesus Christ gave Himself for our sins, that He might deliver us from this present evil world (Galatains 1:3-5 KJV). There's nothing to repent of. Our sins are gone (Colossians 2:11-13 KJV)!
