Does God know the future?

No, not ordinary. It was a brutal attack by religious zealots. It has unfortunately shaken the faith of the people that their government could protect them. But for a moment, people returned to church in search for comfort from the One they had forgotten.....God.

Again Robin, God used the evil from that event and turned it for His glory. But that does not say in any way that God knew this was going to happen.

Doc don't sell Robin short. ;)

Remember, Robin doesn't just think God knew about 911 a millennia ago but that God ordained 911 a millennia ago!

There goes Z Man again, denouncing free will while acting exactly as though it exists.

If humans have no free will, how did they "make up" the concept? Wouldn't it be more accurate to say that God made it appear that humans invented the concept of free will? Or better yet that God made it so Z Man would think that the concept of free will seemed to be invented by men?

AWESOME POINT! :bravo:

So on balance, was 911 was a good thing or a bad thing?
Good, because many returned to God.

Bad, because wives lost husbands, children lost their parents, parents lost their children and brothers and sisters were taken.

Yet the bad part was also predestined by God for some (yet to be known) divine "good" correct?

People often speculate as to why God will have to wipe away tears in heaven. I think there might be several reasons. One being that hard core Calvinists will have to stand before a good and loving God and realize how wrong they were to blame Him for predestining that people be murdered, women be violently raped and little boys and little girls be molested. It will have to be absolutely devistating to them when they realize what they've done.

I am asking you if you believe it to be true.
Why are you asking
Robin if she believe anything. You can't believe if you have no choice. They are like rocks in the desert. They get hot when its hot cold when its cold. Totally dependent on what goes on around them. They can't get mad or glad because that requires the freedom of choice. They are just there like the proverbial stick in the mud. They are just here but of course they did not choose to be here. I got it! They are a plant from the martians to spy out the world and they are all preprogrammed.

Who believes what? That God predestines these things or the possible reason I gave for God wiping away tears?

Blame God for "predestining that people be murdered, women be violently raped and little boys and little girls be molested." Who believes this?
