Paul is comparing temptations. The Church tempting Christ, and Israel tempting Jehovah.

See, this is a CLASSIC example of the ONLY "evidence" trinitarian/oneness victims HAVE.

The verse does NOT state that "them" tempted Christ ..... but, due to the 18 centuries of SCOURING the Scriptures, for ANYTHING that could possibly be warped to fit these views... the ASSUMPTION is made... and repeated so often you think it really says what you WISH it said.

Paul is comparing temptations. The Church tempting Christ, and Israel tempting Jehovah.
