The secularization of the West has been going on for a long time. People have been squeezing God out of their lives for a long time. Refusing to see the sin in their lives and searching for salvation. The secular world is telling people they can do anything they want up to a point. They seemed to have reached that point and are on the red line of anarchy. The Bible tells Christians their lives will not be a cakewalk, they will be mocked, and suffer for their belief.

A comment* I read this morning from an email petitioning for Kim Davis (Free Kim Davis! 10,165 signatures, $9,306,458 raised):
"You just don't get it and have this all backwords [sic]: Kim Davis is the only person here obeying the LAW! The Judge, the Media, the Legislators of Kentucky, the Governor and the Supreme Court are the Law breakers. As Mike Huckabee pointed out and Ted Cruz elaborated: What LAW did she Violate, Name the Statute??? This is a clear case of Judicial Tyranny and Christians are slamming each other, rushing to pull themselves out of all Public discourse! Do you think this will satisfy the Progressives? No they will see the weakness and Blood will flow from every river and stream in america with Christian Blood!! Come Lord Jesus Quickly for your church is ill equiped to face the Enemies of GOD!!!!"
This is the hysteria that results from apocalyptic fear-mongering.

This is true, and yet not by God;s will, but by man's own sin, and sin it is to not honor God.
The secular would is giving to weirdos certain freedoms in exchange for far greater freedom. There is no anarchy, as this is delusion, rather there is near mind control! When was the last time this society has refereed to adult males as men? huh, when?
You may not see how important this is, and they who want to under control are hoping you see this is 'just a social change'. yet it isn't.
They have marginalized you as a person, and have done this to most people living here and in most of Europe.
They take away your natural rights, make you an equal, which is equally a slave. Then they fill you with consumer goods and tell you how guilty you should feel having so much more than the rest of the world, and you buy it!

There is freedom of religion, so long as you don't break the law. We are not a theocracy! You are free to practice whatever coo-coo beliefs you hold, so long as you don't break the law or infringe on the rights of other people.
The bible says nothing about gay marriage. There are many types of marriage that God would probably not approve of, but He did not specifically address gay marriage or say anything about how we should treat gay people other than "loving your neighbor." One type of marriage that was specifically mentioned in the bible as being prohibited by God (which was reiterated by Jesus) is REmarriage. In most cases, if a person gets divorced and then later remarries another, they are thereby committing adultery in the eyes of God. I wonder how closely Kay Davis checked the heterosexual couples she signed licenses for, to ensure that she wasn't assisting in the committing of adultery.
In any case, the marriage license is a government document. You can have a wedding before God in a church (and be married in God's eyes), but forgo the government license if you don't want to partake of the civil benefits extended to the citizens of this country. You cannot; however, prevent another married couple from legally obtaining these same governmental/legal rights in the form of a license.
Kay Davis is hypocritical and is picking and choosing things in the bible in a failed attempt to justify her discrimination.

The bible says that we are to kill homosexuals. I think it is very gracious of Christians to be passive about it.

So you, as a Christian, live by the old covenant? I don't recall Jesus saying anything about killing homosexuals or saying that homosexuals cannot be married by the government.
