Note that 80,000 feet is only a little over 15 miles.
Also note that the earth diameter is almost 8000 miles.
Therefore, this plane is barely even above the surface of the earth (15 miles is ~0.19% of the earths diameter, that is less than a fifth of a percent).

Is the moon actually made of cheese?
According to certain fields of thought it may very well be and not only that but specifically composed of Wensleydale and to a lesser extent Stilton. Farmhouse cheddar aficionados are angrily disputing the claims along with Gorgonzola nuts and Brie maniacs.
Nevertheless it would seem that there is substantial backup for the claim itself:
