Hi and the BAPTIMA is the Holy Spirit , in Rom 6:4 and in Eph 4:5 where BAPTIMA is found !!

Paul was baptized by the Holy Spirit in 1 Cor 12:3 !!

Exactly, the Spirit worked through Ananias. That's how the Spirit works. He works through people, angels, and animals to accomplish his will without having to show up in person.

We are the personification of God's Spirit in us. The Father works through Jesus and Jesus said if you have seen him you have seen the Father.

We should say the same thing. We should be on the same page he is.

It says BAPTISMA and means one BAPTIZER !!

It does not mean one baptizer. Your fuzzy logic wants it to mean that.
It actually means the rite or ceremony of baptism.

G908
baptisma: (the result of) a dipping or sinking
Original Word: βάπτισμα, ατος, τό
Part of Speech: Noun, Neuter
Transliteration: baptisma
Phonetic Spelling: (bap'-tis-mah)
Short Definition: the rite or ceremony of baptism
Definition: the rite or ceremony of baptism.

Hi and it is good that at least some are looking up what BAPTISMA means !!

Just as translations are not INSPIRED neither are Greek dictionaries !!

ONE / HEIS is a numeral and means ONE BAPTISMA and it is the same in Rom 6:4 , where BAPTISMA is used !!

In the B O C THERE IS only one baptized and that is the Holy Spirit !!

We are PLACED into His Body !!

We are PLACED ionto His death !!

We are PLACED into His Resurrection !!

We are SEALED by the Holy Spirit in Eph 1:13 !!~

And ETC , AND ECT !!~

Yes, baptized into Christ by being baptized in his name.

The Corinthian brethren, were baptized in the name of Jesus and Paul knew it.
1 Cor. 1:13 Is Christ divided? Was Paul crucified for you? Or were you baptized in the name of Paul?

Jesus said make disciples by baptizing them in his name, Matt. 28:19.
The apostles did just that:
Acts 10:8 And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. Then they asked him to remain for some days.

Paul did the exact same thing on his last journey and about 2-3 years before his arrest.
Acts 19:5 On hearing this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.

Could you explain why you believe this?

Jesus' sacrifice ended the OT and inaugurated and new and living way by his BLOOD.
Eph. 2:13 But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ. 14 For he himself is our peace, who has made us both one and has broken down in his flesh the dividing wall of hostility 15 by abolishing the law of commandments expressed in ordinances, that he might create in himself one new man in place of the two, so making peace, 16 and might reconcile us both to God in one body through the cross, thereby killing the hostility.

Col. 1:22 he has now reconciled in his body of flesh by his death, in order to present you holy and blameless and above reproach before him,.

Col. 2:14 by canceling the record of debt that stood against us with its legal demands. This he set aside, nailing it to the cross.

I agree with all of that.

How were these people saved?
Acts 2:47 praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved.

By believing the same thing which the eunuch believed in the following passage. We do know that before a person could be baptized with water that person must first believe, as witnessed by the following exchange between Philip and the eunuch:

"And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized? And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God"
(Acts 8:36-37).

Before the eunuch was baptized with water he was already "born of God" because he believed that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God:

"Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God..For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?"
(1 Jn.5:1,4-5).

There can be no doubt that the eunuch received eternal life and was "born of God" before he was baptized with water so we can know that being baptized with water does not contribute in any way to anyone being saved.

If water does not contribute in any way, then what does Jesus mean by this?
Jn. 3:5 Jesus answered, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.

Jn. 3:5 Jesus answered, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.

The word "water" is used to mean the "word," as illustrated by this verse:

"Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word"
(Eph.5:26).

The Lord's words to Nicodemus were in regard to being "born again" and here Peter tells us exactly how a person is born again:

"Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God...And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you" (1 Pet.1:23).

Here the Lord Jesus' words speak how a person is born of the word and the Spirit:

"It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life" (Jn.6:63).

Today believers are born of the Spirit when they believe the gospel which comes in the Holy Spirit:

"For our gospel came not unto you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Spirt, and in much assurance"
(1 Thess.1:5).

Let's start with just this one. How did the eunuch know he needed to be baptized in water?

We are born again by the washing from the Spirit after we repent of our sins and believe.

To be as plain as I can be, the unbeliever must first be given some spark of spiritual life, regenerated, before that person is now in possession of the moral ability to believe.

The "life" of which you speak comes as a result of believing, not before believing, as the Calvinists teach:

"And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book: But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name" (Jn.20:30-31).
