College Football 2015

Don't know why, but the ACC website says this is a conference game.

Notre Dame is required to play at least 5 ACC opponents per season as part of their agreement with the conference. In literally all other sports (except hockey) Notre Dame is a member of the ACC. Since they have been independent in football forever and are very proud of that, they have the aforementioned agreement with the ACC to remain independent while playing a lot of teams from the conference at the same time

Florida is up 19-0 but all that shows me is that Ole Miss circled the Bama game and they are done for the year. Unless they mount a miracle comeback. I have not taken Florida serious even with a better coach because they do not have a bunch of talent. It is all down in Tallahassee. Maybe they get through the SEC East, including Georgia.
I agree. The top 3 Big XII teams all looked really good today and Oklahoma State pulled their game out late against Kansas State to stay undefeated. They get Baylor, TCU, and Oklahoma all at home this year

I thought we'd win if we could hold you know who under a hundred and make them throw. And if you take away the late, D slacking eighty three yard run that's what we did and, unsurprisingly, that was the ballgame.

Still a long season.

The short version is Alabama, Ohio State, Florida State (yes, they all have that much talent) Michigan State and possibly USC. USC had the real best QB prospect last year. The scholarship sanctions against USC have expired and they will not be devoid of talent. This also means Oregon will again slide back a bit without the top talent of Southern California having a place to play.

Michigan State you say? Yep. They are very good on both sides of the ball at the line of scrimmage. And getting better. Two of Illinois' best lineman are headed to Sparty (Illinois will continue to suck)....
I also put Baylor close because the Big 12 stinks.

I am still going with my choices. UCLA fell last night. Oregon did more than slide.

Ap poll top 5 as of today:

1. Ohio State (38)
2. TCU (5)
3. Baylor (10)
4. Michigan State
5. Utah (7)

*first place votes in parentheses

They've only played one game versus anyone worth mentioning, but Baylor looks like the best team in the country to me right now.

For all that don't know any better, Skip Bayless's takes on college football are as bad as the NFL. Sometimes you have to wonder if he even watches the games. Now that conference play is in full swing but most teams are at one game, the pundits are making the playoff prediction.

They are too stupid to post. Maybe I will post Skip from last October for a good laugh.

Auburn's Duke Williams decided he needed to punch a few people.

D'haquille "Duke" Williams punched two security guards, a bartender assistant and another unidentified patron of a bar in Auburn following the Tigers' win over San Jose State, according to two employees who spoke exclusively to AL.com.

The employees requested anonymity because they were not authorized to speak publicly about the incident.

According to the employees, the incident was sparked when a member of Williams' party was kicked out of Skybar for declining to remove his sunglasses, violating the bar's dress code.

Pat Forde of yahoo sports is claiming Maryland is going to fire the football coach Randy Edsall. Yes, Maryland is not winning and they are going to take a beating this weekend in Columbus at Ohio State.

USC took their second loss already. At home to Washington. Scratch them off the list.

Looks like the Alabama game was the end of the streak road for Georgia's talented RB. I hope the knee isn't as serious as they're speculating, but he's out for the game and then some, it seems.

Judging by how the 49'ers are playing, and Michigan's blowout win over #13 Northwestern, Jim Harbaugh may be a really good coach.

Michigan has outscored its last three opponents 97-0, and two of those opponents were ranked.

Next weeks Michigan vs. Michigan St. game is looking like the can't miss game to watch.

We tried out best to keep Arkansas ahead, gave them the ball twice and a four point lead until well into the third quarter, but ultimately, despite our best efforts, we won the game.

I think there's a lack of maturity on this squad. They're inconsistency is a thing to wonder and worry at. When they play their best I don't think there's a team in the country that can beat them, but whether or not they'll manage it or when is a pressing concern.

27-14 Roll Tide.

The Big Ten East is the best division in football, even with alleged Big Ten teams Maryland and Rutgers added for market reasons only.

James Franklin of Penn State has a monster recruiting class going and it is only a matter of time. And they have improved to 5-1 after getting bounced by (ha ha) Temple in the first week.

Michigan, Ohio State, Penn State and recently the highly successful Michigan State Spartans all in one division is awesome.

Michigan is back. Northwestern is a really good team with a poor offense. That a good win, but not the world beating win as declared right now.

I don't have much on Alabama, the second best team this week. They knocked over a physically tough but poorly coached team in Arkansas. The SEC West will definitely be interesting, except for their pansy scheduling like Ole Miss playing a non-conference game in October against the second worst team in football, New Mexico State. My respect flies out the window with the SEC with the manipulation they put on. They also play really bad teams in November before big games.

I look forward to Leonard Fournette against Bama. And Texas A&M against everybody. It sure seems like it is Florida's to lose with Nick Chub in an uncertain status.

It could be worse. You could be in Knoxville with all of those come from ahead losses glued to your record. :p
