Check state and local laws across the nation. There are tons of them that used to be on the books in fact in arkansas its still against the law for a public official to be an atheist, and they used to have to agree they werent to hold office, is that ok with you?

No, she is in jail until she agrees to do the job of County Clerk or resigns and gets out of the way so somebody can.

She can't be fired she can only be impeached by a legislature that isn't in session right now.

She can have any attitude she wants. She's in jail for not doing her job and, as an extension of the Court, interfering with the execution of a legal order.
