Calvinist Blasphemies Against God and His Son Jesus Christ

It is blasphemy against God to teach that he predestinates people to hell before they are born. It is not humanly possible to have saving faith in a God that would do such a terrible thing. How can anyone possibly profess to be a Christian and believe such a terrible thing about God? The answer is that they are not Christians. You cannot be a Christian and blasphemy God and his Son Jesus Christ. It just simply is not of the Holy Spirit.

Salvation has been provided for everyone by the doing and the dying of Jesus. Jesus is the savior of the whole world, Hebrews 2:9.

"And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the savior of the WHOLE WORLD" 1 John 4:14.

"And he is a propitiation for our sins: and not ours only, but also for the sins of the WHOLE WORLD" 1 John 2:2.

Jesus said, "I came not to judge the world, but to save the world" John 12:47.

It is blasphemy against Jesus Christ to teach that he did not atone for the sins of the whole world. Those that teach such are not Christians. They are blasphemers of God, his word and his Son Jesus Christ.

The very foundation of the Gospel is that Jesus has victoriously defeated sin, death and the devil and is Lord. If Jesus had not atoned for the sins of the world, Jesus would not be Lord. Calvinism is an attack on the Lordship of Jesus Christ. It is because of the victorious work of Jesus Christ that God made Jesus both Lord and Christ, Acts 2:36.

If Jesus had not defeated sin, death and the devil, God would not have accepted Jesus back into heaven and we would all still be in our sins, without hope. But thanks be to God that Jesus as our substitute and representative has victoriously defeated sin, death and the devil and now sits at the right hand of God as our High Priest, intercessor and mediator. Because of Jesus we can now stand before God as perfect and complete "In Christ" Colossians 2:10.

BLASPHEMY: To reproach or to bring a railing accusation against any one is bad enough, Jude 9. But to speak lightly or carelessly of God is mortal sin. In Israel the punishment for blasphemy was death by stoning, Leviticus 24:10-16.

To blasphemy God by saying that he predestinates people to hell before they are born is not only blasphemy, it is an outright lie. There is no scripture anywhere in the Bible that says God does a terrible thing like that.

As if that was not bad enough. To say that Jesus did not atone for the sins of the world, makes Jesus a total failure and is blasphemy against him. There are multiple scriptures that tell us Jesus has atoned for the sins of the world.

In spite of all of the scriptures that refute these Calvinist beliefs, they still continue to blasphemy God and his Son Jesus Christ.

Doesn't Brinsmead encourage blasphemy?

Is God really on about being worshiped? Is that the primary thing God wants from humans? Is that why we were created? Should such worship of God be our first concern and highest duty? By asking these questions, I simply do what I recommended thirty years ago, Dare to Blaspheme and Dare to be Free.

As Nolan (Jesus Before Christianity) suggests, we should not start with our view of God to understand Jesus, but we should start with the manifestation of God in humanity (which is not just Jesus) to have a better understanding of God

God, as the creator, has the perfect right to dispose of his creatures as he sees fit. Many people absolutely detest this clear teaching of scripture because it clashes with the pride of mens hearts. We are all condemned sinners in Adam, deserving hell. But God chose some from the mass of sinners to eternal life. The rest he left to their own devices which means they will follow their own path to hell. This is not blasphemy it is the truth of God's word.

Oh. So YOU are eternally secure in Christ because you believe you're elect, but to everyone who isn't...tough.

Pateism denies that Christ death alone saved them He died for, hence denying that Christ is the Saviour of the World He died for! That's blasphemy!

God is not free to dispose of people like they are trash.

He is bound by his holy, just, merciful, righteous nature. He cannot and will not sin against himself.

You are a blasphemer.

Jesus claims to be the savior of the world, John 12:47.

You blasphemy him when you say he is not.

God is concerned only with his glory. Salvation is for the praise of his glory. God owes noone anything, not even the opportunity to 'accept Christ'. God in his sovereign choice of some sinners to salvation in Christ does not 'sin against himself'. He is upholding his glory. Thank you for the compliment of calling me a blasphemer. It is an honour to suffer such name calling for the gospel.

NO. Not because I believe I am elect. That would be salvation by works. God chose me in Christ and called me to faith in Christ via the new birth. I am eternally secure in Christ for the praise of God's glory.

Christ died only for the elect sinners (John 6). Noone for whom Christ died will be lost in hell. God cannot fail to achieve all that he has planned from eternity for the praise of his glory.

According to the Bible all are elect sinners, 1 John 4:14.
