, " I am the way the truth and the life and no man comes to the Father but by me". Notice Jesus never mentioned Mary, a pope, or a human priest being needed to go to the Father. I am confident in Jesus !

yes, amen.:)

We can never go wrong by trusting what Jesus says.

How does hell separate a person from God since hell will be destroyed?

Then what?

You might want to study Revelation YOU are wrong.

Jesus taught that they cannot die and the fire NEVER goes out in hell.

Mar 9:44
Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched

Let us examine Christ's own baptism. He was baptized, then the Holy Spirit descended.

Jesus was born with God's Spirit. Only the Father can impart the holy Spirit and he does so through the Spirit of Christ. This is why the Spirit was not available while Jesus was human.

Explain this part of the Revelation.

And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. (Revelation 20:14)

That is the place Jesus described when He said their worm dieth not and the fire is not quenched as in eternal separation from God.

No, that was Satan that taught that, God said they would surely die.

Eternal life is a gift, it's not inherent.

I gave you the verse that is in Mark 9:44 FYI Jesus taught that NOT Satan.

Do you believe Jesus is Satan ?

Mar 9:44
Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.

What bible are you reading ?

Luke 3:22
And the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him, and a voice came from heaven, which said, Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased.

Scripture teaches that Jesus was indwelt by the Holy Spirit .

Do you understand that Jesus was God in flesh. You might want to read and study John 8:58 where Jesus said," before Abraham was "I AM". When Moses asked God what is your name God said " I AM THAT I AM".

You might want to believe scripture and stop listening to folks that have no clue.

Jesus was born of the Holy Spirit, not "with God's spirit." The Spirit of God is the Spirit of Christ. And is the Holy Spirit. This is a whole other topic you are bringing into this conversation.

There is much confusion about baptism in the various Christian denominations. However, this is not a result of the Bible presenting a confusing message on baptism. The Bible is abundantly clear of what baptism is, who it is for, and what it accomplishes. In the Bible, only believers who had placed their faith in Christ were baptized - as a public testimony of their faith and identification with Him (Acts 2:38; Romans 6:3-4). Water baptism by immersion is a step of obedience after faith in Christ. It is a proclamation of faith in Christ, a statement of submission to Him, and an identification with His death, burial, and resurrection.

With this in view, infant baptism is not a Biblical practice. An infant cannot place his or her faith in Christ. An infant cannot make a conscious decision to obey Christ. An infant cannot understand what water baptism symbolizes. The Bible does not record any infants being baptized. Infant baptism is the origin of the sprinkling and pouring methods of baptism - as it is unwise and unsafe to immerse an infant under water. Even the method of infant baptism fails to agree with the Bible. How does pouring or sprinkling illustrate the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ?

Many Christians who practice infant baptism do so because they understand infant baptism as the new covenant equivalent of circumcision. In this view, just as circumcision joined a Hebrew to the Abrahamic and Mosaic covenants, so baptism joined a person to the New Covenant of salvation through Jesus Christ. This view is unbiblical. The New Testament nowhere describes baptism as the New Covenant replacement for Old Covenant circumcision. The New Testament nowhere describes baptism as a sign of the New Covenant. It is faith in Jesus Christ that enables a person to enjoy the blessings of the New Covenant (1 Corinthians 11:25; 2 Corinthians 3:6; Hebrews 9:15).

Baptism does not save a person. It does not matter if you were baptized by immersion, pouring, or sprinkling - if you have not first trusted in Christ for salvation, baptism (no matter the method) is meaningless and useless. Water baptism by immersion is a step of obedience to be done after salvation as a public profession of faith in Christ and identification with Him. Infant baptism does not fit the Biblical definition of baptism or the Biblical method of baptism. If Christian parents wish to dedicate their child to Christ, then a baby dedication service is entirely appropriate. However, even if infants are dedicated to the Lord, when they grow up they will still have to make a personal decision to believe in Jesus Christ in order to be saved.

Are they still alive in Sodom ? Nope, but they cannot die ( where their worm dieth not as Jesus said ) in hell nor will the flames ever go out.

Maggots don't die, they become flies, lay eggs that become flies and the cycle goes on.

Exactly what will be happening in and on those condemned to an eternal hell exactly as Jesus said it would, and the fire will never go out in hell.

You might want to study Revelation YOU are wrong.

Jesus taught that they cannot die and the fire NEVER goes out in hell.

Mar 9:44
Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched
.

Are you not aware that Mark 9:44 is a quote of this older prophecy?

"And they will go out and look on the dead bodies of those who rebelled against me; the worms that eat them will not die, the fire that burns them will not be quenched, and they will be loathsome to all mankind." (Isaiah 66:24 [NIV])

And you're probably also not aware that this fire will kill whoever is thrown in it, hence "and look on the dead bodies". This is why Jesus Christ said,

And you should not be afraid of those killing the body but not being able to kill the soul. Indeed rather you should fear the One being able to destroy both soul and body in Gehenna. (Matthew 10:28 [NIV])

Body and soul are destroyed in this fire, hence why it will produce dead bodies, consuming those who are thrown in it. This is also no ordinary fire, but from the Book of Revelation reveals, it will be a lava lake,

Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death. (Revelation 20:14 [NIV])

Which explains how this fire will not be quenched, because a steady lava flow does not quench, and also explains how worms will not die, because lava has a high viscosity that will cause dead bodies to float on the surface, where thus worms will feed on those bodies without dying.

Whoever teaches the eternal torment doctrine has absolutely no understanding of God, for God has already determined who he will condemn to this fire that he may demonstrate his justice and judgment on what he has deemed to be evil. Once he has demonstrated this, the wicked will serve no other purpose, but to,

Then you will trample on the wicked; they will be ashes under the soles of your feet on the day when I act," says the LORD Almighty. (Malachi 4:3 [NIV])

This is also why it is said,

For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning. (Psalm 3:5 [NIV])

Do you not understand? Open your eyes and stop listening to the lies being taught in your churches.
