Last night I went out on the porch and surveyed the acreage, the running lane and the shadowed wood in the distance of it, feeling satisfied. Then I looked up at the stars blazing through a clear and cold night sky, considered the vastness of those reaches and conceded to God, "Okay, your backyard is better, but we both have a fantastic view." So much for fences.I took this when I was out driving before the sun came up this morning.
