Sure, a literal reading of Genesis is wrong

Why?

but apparently crosses house rules so I will stop there.

There is nothing wrong with discussion. Just because we're biased on this forum doesn't mean we can't have civil dialogue about our beliefs.

So long as you're not breaking the rules, we have no problem with you engaging in discussion against our position.

Yes, science is fallible. Not all Christians believe every word of the Bible is infallible; that may be the house rule here but it need not apply to all Christians.
Your whole complaint is that some Christians should be able to believe that the Bible is fallible?

Not a complaint, merely noticing that some Christians do not take the Bible literally
Sure, but we don't need to include them in any serious discussions about truth, since they have no basis for their truth except science, which we've established is fallible, and their own opinions, which are even more so.

Define "truth".

Also, show the universe is stationary, and does not move. As the Bible says it is being stretched out.

Where did the windows of heaven go to, Did He simply allude the windows of heaven was. The other day, one of the news cast for NASA made a big mistake. They stated that we had not been beyond 'Low Earth Orbit'. Eventually the truth will come out and everybody will be very upset. I, myself am a 'Geo Centrist'

The "windows of heaven were opened" is a figure of speech that means that it rained really hard.

Which, isn't surprising when you have fountains launching billions of gallons of water up into the air...

That's why it says "fountains of the great deep broke forth" first.

The earth is indeed in the center of the universe.

But it's also in orbit around the Sun, which is in orbit around the center of the Milky Way Galaxy, which is within a cluster of galaxies, which is within a truly massive hyperstructure, one of many "filaments" that span tens of billions of light-years in length.

And the earth is at the center of it all.

not according to the Bible..

Why was a figure of speech used for the windows of heaven, but not for the fountains of the great deep? Doesn't it seem like the two would be treated the same, or if as you say, at least have connecting text to show that the literal one caused the figurative one?
