571. Under the Old Covenant it was the duty of God's people to obey the Law. Under the New Covenant (a much better covenant) it is the choice and the delight of God's people to obey the Law. We do this by grace through faith and under the guidance and unction of the Holy Spirit. I thank God for our Lord Jesus Christ Who made this possible by His death, resurrection and ascension. His sending of the Spirit to indwell His children is an amazing gift. Thank You, Lord!
