Salvation is 100 % a Gift of Gods Grace !

Question for you, @beloved57 : In the following verse, who is Jesus speaking to, and what were they chosen for? You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may...

Salvation is 100 % a Gift of Gods Grace !

God, not man, is 100% responsible for salvation. Man, not God, is 100% responsible for accepting the gift of salvation offered by God. God did not decide man's choices for him, but decided that man would have the ability and freedom to make his own choices.

The Pope is Pro-homo, and that's bad

UN, what's your point? The fact of the matter is that Jesus says to judge, and with righteous judgment. I'm going to listen to Him.

No person can come to Christ by their own freewill !

Again: "Dead" does not mean incapable of responding. It means separated from God. That's how. He is correct. Chapter verse. Because there is no verse that says that man by nature does not have ears to hear. Chapter verse. Neither is it what I'm talking about. So why bring it up? Duh...

The Myth of saying that Jesus Christ died for all men without exception !

Christ died for the ungodly, Romans 5:6. Last I checked, that was all humans prior to their salvation. Christ died for all. But salvation is not automatically applied to all. It is only applied to those who are "in Him." Yes, as I said, Salvation is only applied to those "in Him." Paul uses...

The Pope is Pro-homo, and that's bad

Once again, taking scripture out of context. Now I, Paul, myself am pleading with you by the meekness and gentleness of Christ—who in presence am lowly among you, but being absent am bold toward you. 2 But I beg you that when I am present I may not be bold with that confidence by which I intend...

Salvation in its fourfold aspects !

It makes no difference that you have scripture to back up what you're saying, B57. The problem is that you're reading what you believe INTO scripture, when the scripture, even though when you read it the way you want it to be read says exactly what you want it to say, DOES NOT ACTUALLY SAY that...

Salvation in its fourfold aspects !

It's called confirmation bias. It's called eisegesis. NEITHER are good ways to study scripture. You should let scripture speak for itself, not read your beliefs into it.

Salvation in its fourfold aspects !

Post #12, my first post in this thread. You ignored it. Post #17 was pointing out that you could not answer marke's Post #14, because you gave a generic answer that uses lots of words, but says very little. Post #19 both challenged your premise, and even answer your question, though...

The Pope is Pro-homo, and that's bad

You should read the verses just prior to the passage you quote. Because the context doesn't let the passage you quoted use it in the way you're trying to use it. Jesus says to judge. Paul says to judge. In fact, just read the verses just following that passage, 1 Corinthians 6:2-5.

Salvation in its fourfold aspects !

That's called Eisegesis, and confirmation bias. You should be doing the opposite, and letting scripture define your beliefs, not looking for scriptures that support your beliefs.

Then you're going to have to show me the difference, because otherwise you're wasting my time, which makes you a hypocrite for not wanting me to waste yours. But that's not what I've been doing, for the most part. Sure, one or two points here and there, I simply dismiss. But the majority of...
